My fellow Victorious Soldiers, Veterans of War!

War! Battle! Fighting! They bring such images of blood and glory, of valour and heroes in shining armour. Epic displays of strength and skill with weapons that result, of course, in Victory...

Who is not drawn by such scenes of bravery and just plain awesome visions of battles won and honour attained?

Who does not want to be a part of such a fight?

I, for one, feel the pull to such a vision...

It has been a while since my last article and this particular one has been on my 'to do' list for a long time, though considering our recent victory it seems a little late.

I've not only  had several requests for this article but being a new citizen myself,  I feel that it's an important aspect to explain.

The war module has to be understood regardless of what field you want to be in since, all citizens, old and new, should participate in battle for the betterment of ePakistan.

TO begin with, there are two types of wars:
1- Normal Battles/ Campaigns (where one eCountry and it's allies fight another eCountry and it's allies)

2- Resistance Wars (when an eCountry fights within itself against a region it occupied. There are no allies in this war and you must be located in the specific eCountry to participate in the war)

Before we get lost in all the technicalities of the War Module I think a quick look at the battlefield page and it's components is necessary.

If you're new, then definitely take a look at the labels below!

To make it less confusing, I've split the screen into several parts and explained the details individually...

Divisions
In the current war module, each citizen fights in a mini comprising only of those citizens from their division. You can identify your division using the table below:

This means that, a level 22 citizen would be classified as division 1 and only fight with and against other division 1 citizens. Making the game fair and giving new citizens an equal chance.

The Wall

The war module is designed so that both sides in the battle are actually fighting the wall, instead of each other. Whichever side has the greater influence on the wall, through net damage inflicted, will force the wall on the opposing side.

For example, in the mini above, France, our enemy, has pushed the wall past the mid-way and onto our side. This means that their net influence in this mini is higher.
There is also a Points system regarding this which will be explained in detail next.

Points

To Win a Mini
Your side must have 1800 points.

~ In the 30 first minutes: 10 points per minute are given to the side where the wall is over mid-way
~ From the 31st to 60th minute: 20 points per minute are given to the side where the wall is over mid-way
~ From 61st to 90th minute : 30 points per minute are given to the side where the wall is over mid-way
~ After 91st minute : 60 points per minute are given to the side where the wall is over mid-way

Meaning that a mini usually lasts for at least an hour and a half to a maximum of two hours. Once every mini has finished there is a waiting period of about 5 minutes till the new mini begins.

To Win a Campaign
When a division wins a mini they gain points. The first to reach 83 points wins the campaign.

~ Each mini won by division 1 gives 1 point to their side
~ Each mini won by division 2 gives 2 points to their side
~ Each mini won by division 3 gives 3 points to their side
~ Each mini won by division 4 gives 5 points to their side

Battle Hero Medal
The Battle Hero (as explained above) at the end of every mini gets a medal. So,  at the end of one mini there are 8 Battle hero positions available, four on each side of the battle.
There is an award for this medal but it varies in value depending on what division you are in:

~ 2 Gold if you are in division 1
~ 3 Gold if you are in division 2
~ 4 Gold if you are in division 3
~ 5 Gold if you are in division 4

Advice to new players

Observe a few battles yourself! This advice has been given to me several times as well and it's proved good. But you need patience so don't get restless!

It is important that new players understand that (apart from the DO) if the wall is in our favour, on the enemy side, then you shouldn't hit too hard. Save your damage to keep it just across the halfway throughout the whole mini.

For example, in the screenshot below:

1  The mid-way point at 50%
2  The wall on eThailands side (our ally) at 10%
3  The wall on eIndias side (the enemy) at 90%

In this case, the wall is on our side and we should focus our hits on getting the wall onto India's side. However, India would most likely not be hitting very hard since they are well over the 50% and have a clear advantage and are getting points for every minute they are over the 50% mark. So, only hit hard when the wall is on our side of the bar and try to maintain the wall at around 55/60%.

Also, DON'T hesitate to ask other citizens for food and weapons. The ePakistani community is very helpful and generous, you should show appreciation of that by taking aid now and then later helping others. As part of the Mentor Programme for new citizens we also try to support them by providing other aid, so you can contact Strywgr or Sparkfyre (me), as well.

Complete your Daily Order (DO) regularly. You get bazooka parts which come in very handy when you reach level 24 and onwards. The more bazookas you save now the better your chances are to gain a Battle Hero Award later since bazookas can inflict 10,000 damage.

As for using bazookas, it's easier to get a Battle Hero award in division 1 than it is later but since a lot of people are aware of that many people try for the medal. It is best to scope out a battle in a smaller eCountry and hit depending on the stats and what you observe of the campaign.

Well, I think that gives a very accurate summary of what a new citizen would need to know about the War Module and how to go about handling Battles in the early stages of their eLife!

So, do ePakistan justice! Fight with intelligence and not just random clicking 😉
