Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,

With the approval of the country president mungos032, we are going to organize Swiss National Chess Tournament and make it traditional. I hope that there will be lot of players from our community who will participate and we are going to have fun for couple of weeks winning some prizes.

The winner will represent Switzerland to the Chess World Coup that we are going to organize soon as we finish our National Tournament. We are going to invite all eCountries to the Chess World Cup, and bring some fun and good project who will bring closer all the nations.

For the Chess World Cup we are going to have more information soon.

Swiss National Chess Tournament 2016

Swiss National Chess Tournament it depends from the interest that will be shown from our citizens. If we have more players we are going to have more fun! The tournament will start 12 March and will end 2 April. Every player will play 9 rounds. Тournament will be played in Swiss system.

This is my first chess tournament that i`m organizing and i don`t have lot of experience, so if there are some omissions in the rules please inform me in time so we can change them and make it perfect tournament.

Rules to join the tournament:

1. Swiss CS (Only Swiss players.);
2. For joining tournament player must donate 1 gold to Blackbeard00;
3. To join Tournament you need to send Blackbeard00 message;
4. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 10 MARCH

Tournament rules:

1. There will be 9 rounds played by OSwiss program;
2. Each game lasts 15 minutes per player;
3. Every round last 2 eRepublik days. ( We are going to make deal in game message where all players will be included, when the match will be played. The time and day depends on the deal between the two players. If one of the players don`t show up for the match the other player gets the win, in the next round the player that don`t show up can play again;
4. The results of the match players must send to Blackbeard00 between the 2 days. Blackbeard00 will try to follow the match or send some judge from our MoE team;
5. First pairs will be randomly chosen by the OSwiss program and will be published on 11 March. The schedule will be played by the program all the time and will be published after end of the last round together with the results;
6. The tournaments starts Saturday, 12 March, The schedule for the first round will be published on 11 March.

Tournament prizes:

First place will represent Switzerland in Chess World Cup and will get half of the Gold/CC we are going to get from our government, sponsors and the gold from the participation.

Second place will win 35% from the Gold/CC we are going to get from our government, sponsors and the gold from the participation.

Third place will win 15% from the Gold/CC we are going to get from our government, sponsors and the gold from the participation.
