Join the new world

Dear Swiss people,
following the example of other eRepublikan nations, we decided to create an Official page for our country on the popular social network Google Plus.

Unlike Facebook, it seems Google Plus pages had a great success all around the world to improve eRepublikan game experience and to make new players subscribe.
We will both have a Swiss Community page, where all the citizens will be able to share their ideas and discuss, and an Official page, which is intended exclusively to promote and advertise the game.

Today we are announcing a competition: we need a nice and effective logo to introduce our country to all Google Plus users.
Here are the rules to take part:

-Creating BOTH an avatar and a cover picture (the default resolution is 300x300 for the avatar and 480x270 for the cover).

The pictures MUST satisfy the minimum resolution requirements; should the resolution be higher, consider your picture would be cut (this could affect its effectiveness requirements).

-Every competitor can take part with MORE THAN ONE picture for every category. Every picture will have a dedicated number to vote, so two avatar pictures will take part as if presented by two different authors.

-The avatar should contain connections both to eRepublik and Switzerland;
The cover theme is actually less strict, but should anyway allow every user to understand what the page is about.

Let’s now focus on the competition application and the voting process:

-The competition will last 1 Week, starting from the publication of this article. (the deadline will be on Thursday, 16th – 01.00 eRepublik Time)

-Every competitor has to upload his two pictures onto any image hosting service.

-Every competitor should write a Private Message to the Minister of Education with a dedicated PM subject and inserting a direct link to their uploaded works.

-The admission to the contest will be decided by the MoE himself, without any possibility to appeal. The rejected competitor has the right to know the motivations of the rejection, but will not be re-admitted if previously excluded.

-After admittance, the Minister of Education will publish another article with the full list of artworks NOT ASSOCIATED to its author, so the voting process won’t be influenced by any personal preconception.

-Every eSwiss citizen has the right to vote sending a Private Message to the Minister of Education stating which is the favorite artwork.

The artworks will be divided in two categories: avatar and covers.
Every citizen can express ONE vote for each category (so there could be two winners, one for the avatar category and one for the cover category).

-The final results will be published in a dedicated article. Anyway, every voting PM will be kept as an evidence, in case someone should contest the results legitimacy.

-Should there be any tie, all the citizens will be allowed to choose again between one of the top voted artworks. In case there is another tie, the winner will be chosen by the Minister of Education.

-It is MANDATORY, for the competition to be valid, that AT LEAST 2 competitors take part to the contest.

In case the minimum competitors number isn’t satisfied, the only competitor will be declared winner but WILL NOT receive any prize.

In case no one takes part, the competition will be held again and citizens from ALL OVER the eWorld will be allowed to take part and compete for the final prize.

Let’s finally move to the prize.

-The competitor(s) who’ll win the contest will have their artwork to be used as official logo for the Google Plus page; they will also be publicly acknowledged on the Google Plus page.

In addition, a concrete prize is provided for winners: the winner of every category will receive 50 q7 weapons (with a jackpot of 100 q7 weapons).

In case there is a double tie in any category (with the consequent direct intervention of MoE) the prize will be equally divided among the competitors who reached the second tie turn.
