[MoD] End of the Chinese-Japanese War

Day 1,228, 17:40 Published in Japan Japan by exReality
Japan,

This last week has been hectic and long for all of us. But finally it seems, that it will be coming to an end.

Origins of the War

The war began with miscommunication and a misunderstanding of one another. This miscommunication coupled with individuals from both sides seeking more actively to feed that tension, worsened problems regarding negotiations of several regions, ultimately dragged our countries into a state of war. The war may have started from a misunderstanding, but we are very proud of our Japanese citizens who fought bravely in this war. Numerous citizens contributed to the war efforts and Japan stood firmly united.

Negotiations

The Japanese government worked behind-the-scenes to solve this foreign affair crisis and finally reached a breakthrough yesterday. Late last night there was an emergency meeting held between representatives of Japan (Alfred Ball, DanPMK, and I) and representatives of China/NK (martianY, Silent Stalker, Aliao, Meifawan, and Kaycloud). The Americans (Emerick and Glove) held the meetings in hopes of bringing peace between our nations. The discussions were heated at first but because of the Americans’ presence in the chat room and China’s and Japan’s willingness to return to peace, we were able to reach an agreement. With this dispute resolved, we can now fully reestablish our involvement in Terra and focus on more troubling matters at hand.

In the following days we will be taking steps in ending the war.

Chronological Order

-China will be taking Shikoku

-North Korea will take Chubu and Kinki (effectively ending the war with China because China will no longer share a border with Japan)

-North Korea will return the regions via war/resistance wars

-China will return the regions through resistance wars

-Japan/NK will propose peace and the war will officially end.

PS: Many thanks to Roland_up, Sadanaga and Reiji for translating for the Japanese government, so we could better understand the situation and the perspective from the Chinese citizens.

Hopefully we can put this event behind us and once again concentrate on a common enemy, just like the good old days.
