[Mittekemuis-Garth]Putting the UNITED back in United Kingdom

Day 1,869, 06:52 Published in United Kingdom Belgium by mittekemuis

Hello dear citizens of eUnited Kingdom, eFamily and eFriends,

I would like to talk with you about The eUnited Kingdom. The eCountry I love and always felt welcome to. The community that has so many diversity in people it is like walking in a big eWorld city. The eCountry where party politics is more alive than ever...

I found a poem I would like to share with you:

"The Rolling English Road"

G.K. Chesterton

Obviously, I do not know much of British poetry as I am a real live Belgian and didn’t study English literature. I just liked it and remembered it is related to what I am writing about.

Although diversity is a good thing, it can also cause friction as it has done in the eUnited Kingdom for the last half year, maybe even longer. We have seen parties slander each other over nothing and everything. We have seen people not willing to work for other people because of words they have spoken. I see stubbornness in all parties just because pride and ego’s need to be fed. When you look to the situation from a distance you will see that the bottom line is equal for each party. It’s only the road towards the goal that is different. I do not believe any party is hurting the country on purpose but I can’t deny parties are hurting each other.
We can rectify this through communication, communication and again communication.

Well boys and girls I hope I can put a stop to this madness.
Today I announce my candidacy for CP on January 5th 2013. My main goal will be putting the eUNITED back in the eUnited Kingdom.

Why I think I would be a good candidate, you ask?
To be honest I don’t know if I am. I just do my best for this eCountry that I love.
When I first was in this eCountry I was a member of the blooming ESO who I still like very much. PCP has always had a place in my heart because they always have supported the little guy as I will always do. I worked for many TUP Country Presidents and got to know people in other parties through working in various cabinets. Recently I was able to work with some fine players from UKPP, Ne and Ov.
I have been playing this game for over two years and ever since my second month of playing I have been either in the Foreign affairs department, Defence department or Country President. I originate in this game from eBelgium (which is also my RL nationality) but I have spend a great deal of these two years living and working for the eUnited Kingdom. I served countless Country Presidents and even tried running for CP once before. Thomas765 beat me, by a handful of votes.
When I was not in the eUnited Kingdom I was either in eBelgium or traveling the eWorld to visit the friends I made being Minister of Foreign Affairs. I can say I was MoFa/vCP/MoD in Estonia. I also have seen the inside of EDEN as I was MoFa of Romania and respected citizen in eIreland.

Giving you a sneak preview on my visions for next month
Both FA and MoD are going to get involved more with TWO. For MoD that will be a better communication with all eCountries MUs to direct damage and set proper DO and for Foreign Affairs I will introduce a group of circulating dMoFa who will be part of the MoFa department in other countries of TWO.

The MoHa will have the colossal task of making this community whole again. That and trying to retain newer players. I would like to see a system of civil servants installed which I think will help younger players to get more active within politics.

For the eCountry in general I would like to see either training wars/real wars so that our citizens can grow stronger and get TP medals or see the UK spend money on aid for all citizens. We can only be counted on by our allies if we have enough strong players to win a battle. Although the aid of new citizens is a priority, I do believe we need to look at what we can do to make us stronger as a country too. For that I will need a very creative thinking by the MoF because I do not intend to bankrupt the eUnited Kingdom.

Cabinet

Cabinet should represent the diversity of which the UK exists. Old and young and from as many different parties as possible.
With this said I would like to ask you to apply for a job in cabinet. If you think you can be active for a month and you are willing to learn or already have the skills don’t hesitate to contact me!

Yours truly,

&
