[MIT] Proposed Structure and Ranks

Day 844, 11:12 Published in Thailand Thailand by Allan Dobrowolski

Alright, it's been a while since I had written this. This was the direction both Travis and I had planned out for the MIT, and I guess I should post it here (even though it's already on the forum).

Mobile Infantry of Thailand
This is our Corps name. We will have two Divisions, one for mobile troops, and one for non-mobile troops.

1st Infantry Division
The name of our first division, for mobile troops. They are paratroopers, mobile infantry. Could perhaps get a nickname. Helljumpers, something cool.

2nd Special Operations Division

Uh... the name can use some work. Mobile infantry that only deploy in extreme emergency. They can hold Congress seats. And again, a nickname wouldn't hurt.

3rd Training Division
Basically players with under 5 or so Strength will be lumped into here.

Divisions should then be divided into Companies or Platoons. I like Platoons, and they are characteristically smaller and sound cooler than a Company.

1st Infantry Platoon AKA Roaring Raiders
Our 1st Platoon.

2nd Infantry Platoon AKA Fireback Pheasants AKA Firebacks

Our 2nd Platoon, will be the 10 highest Manu workers available.

Everything up there has to have a person in charge. The head of the military will be given the rank General. The two Division Commanding Officers will be given the ranks Colonel and the two Division Executive Officers will be given the rank Lieutenant Colonel. Executive Officers are the assistants to those in charge pretty much. Retired Division COs and XOs get the rank Major. The COs of Platoons are given the rank Lieutenant or 1st Lieutenant and the XOs of Platoons are given the rank Sub Lieutenant or 2nd Lieutenant. Former COs and XOs are given the rank Sergeant. Field Marshals who join the military are automatically assigned the Corporal rank, and everyone else is a Private.

The General chooses the Division COs. The Division COs choose their Division XOs (has to be approved by the General). The Division CO and XO then choose the Platoon COs after consulting with the General. The Platoon COs choose their XOs, which must be approved by the General.

What do you guys think?
