[MiB/MoB] PP Election Results: Crisis Averted?

Day 3,344, 21:45 Published in Canada Canada by TemujinBC

Greetings fellow Canadians,

Today our dull fine nation faced a minor issue as two of our top five parties were tasked with warding off simultaneous takeover attempts. First, the rabble-rouser Rylde made another attempt at wrestling control of Temmy's Dirty Carpet. A strong effort by party faithful ensured the mighty and brave TemujinBC would flush the foreign spill away and prevent permanent staining.

The other concern of the evening involved the notorious Rolo Tahmasee and the Canadian Progressive Front. Throughout much of the day it seemed Rolo would cruise to victory, but as the evening wore on the vote tally narrowed until Jubei Kibagamii was able to take the lead.

While these results are not yet final and Plato will no doubt remove any multi votes, it would appear at first glance as though the CPF and Temmy's Dirty Carpet have successfully resisted the takeover attempts.

I've reached out to both Rolo and Rylde for comment on all that has transpired, but neither one has responded as of the time of publishing. Strange, because last week Rylde had a lot to say:

Hard to TO a party with only one vote though.

In the end it seems clear that years of trash talk and bravado from Rylde has caused the novelty of his act to finally wear off. While there is still a contingent of voters in the Rolo/Rylde camp, it's obvious to everyone except them that their influence and legacy have diminished.

For another month at least, the nation is spared a political party run by one of them.

Hugs and Kisses,
