[MAD] 1st MAD South American Meeting

On the 5th of february I had the pleasure to meet my old pal ingame Dzooka in São Paulo – Brazil.

Fortunately we had the chance to have dinner together and enjoy a great night, chilling and eating a lot at my favourite restaurant in that mentioned city.

By the hands of destiny, we had personal and diferent appointments at the same time and the same city in Brazil (I live 450 KMs away from SP) for that date and we’ve arranged a small talk meeting to celebrate the friendship and discuss real life issues and bullshits related to the game.

We went to a real traditional and old restaurant in the Liberdade neighborhood, where I grew up and where all the Japanese immigrants after the 2º World War settle when they arrived in Brazil, the place is called Aska and is nationalwide famous. By the way, thanks a lot for the raki and the sunflower seeds you brought kardesim.

A cosy and warm place, very small but specialized in lamen or Ramen (in Japanese) a Japanese noodle soup dish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodlesserved in a meat- or (occasionally) fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork, dried seaweed, kamaboko, and green onions. Nearly every region in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen of Kyushu to the miso ramen of Hokkaido – where my grandparents had immigrated from.

I’ve decided to write this article just to emphasize and show you that even if the game is dying and getting day by day boring as fuck, what probably keeps most of the people still spending their time in here, isn’t because Plato makes the game cooler, the only reasonable reason for it is that the best thing this game can still give is the chance to meet and know awesome human beings and have great social experiences.
