[Lesson] Never trust ANYONE in this game. + Citizenship business

This article in a nutshell: Find out why you shouldn't trust anyone and read about the citizenship business in some countries.

Hello world!

Today I wanted to change my citizenship to Serbian. The reasons are simple: Serbia has all 5 resources for both Food and Weaponry industries.

So I applied. I was then contacted by three, just tree honorable congressmen. (Mr. hardkiller95 - asking for 10 gold for the citizenship, Mr. Meseriasu - 5 gold and - my favorite - Mr. Dusan_95 also called by friends as Douche - also 5 gold).

I thought it would be OK if I negotiate a bit with him and I could make the price - or better the bribe - lower a couple of gold, so I offered him 3 gold. Unexpectedly, he accepted. 🙂 This fact warned me that something is wrong here and I took a picture of the transaction.

So I sent him the money. After a while I asked him where is my citizenship and he simply announced me that he decided to scam me.

Whatever.

I don't cry for 3 gold. I make this money in a few days. What I want to underline in this article is that some people, who should be taking care of the state, decided to open their own business by exploiting the citizenship feature of this game.

I am sure these guys (who develop eRepublik) wrote this feature exactly for this reason: congressmen taking bribes for the citizenship and congressmen scamming people.

I assume this guy, Douche, is only 15-16 (as he has 95 in his username, I don't know, I might be wrong). If at 16 he's corrupt and thief, what about when he will be 25...?

This kind of attitude is the one destroying this game. I play eRepublik to release myself from the corruption and the lack of good faith from the real life. I don't play this to get angry because of some douchebags who want to ruin our fun here.

I will end this here, hoping that at least one people understood something from this. And maybe no one will ever make again my mistake.

Have a nice day and thanks for reading this.
