"Law did not reach the quorum"

Recently, an extremely important law was proposed to the congressmen of this nation. Namely to raise food import taxes to 99% in order to protect our local jobs and strengthen our economy. The Green Liberal Democrats support such measures.
However, just now, voting was closed and the law didn't pass because to few congressmen decided to trouble themselves by voting! These men and women, these parties, received your trust and your vote in last election and now, they don't even have the courtesy to vote "yes" or "no" on a vital proposal to protect our economy.
I would like to invite every citizen and every voter to think about what kind of people they want as representatives in congress. As Green Liberal Democrat party leader, I am shocked by this recent event and I invite everyone to vote for change during these next elections. Vote Green Liberal Democrat!

I have to say, blaim BP. They got 17 congresmembers and only 2 are active...
There are 40 congressmen and only 4 voted... I blame all parties

Well you should be shocked. You'd rather ask your congressmen to vote instead of our citizens...
And btw, maybe people didn't vote since there wasn't a real congress-discussion about it first.

DTS has only 3 Congres Members en I did NOT ask them to vote, so our party is just IS more active, and comes up with most of the proposals the greens of Peter like so much.

I don't understand why you accuse me of stealing a proposal. I only said I supported it. It saddens me to see that instead of going for your own program, you resort to negative campaigning in order to get votes...
99% is overkill but it can certainly be raised to 60%
@Peter Green: There are 36 congress members, not 40, please be correct on facts.
@SimonB: Stay on facts, when there have been voting 5 people, and BP has 17 out of 36 seats, they did not to this that bad compared to other parties outside DTS from who this proposal came. This blaming of BP is very very annoying and I blame all those hate speakers that do so for making this nation not nice to live in for a lot of citizens!
@Jacob van den Guldenweege: stay on facts, 5 people voted, you mised Sir Olf of DTS.
@all: Do understand when the congress chairman decides in the midst of the voting to make remarks that the voting is not started the correct way, many congress members stop voting.
Cocoamok, I'm sorry to inform you, but Sir Olf is not a member of DTS. In the contrary, he is a LSD member.
