[jw] The month to rule them all: put up or shut up

For literally years now, players have been complaining about TUP, Iain Keers, Kravenn, how the UK is run by an old generation of players and nothing ever changes. Ironically, this was the original argument of TUP, Iain Keers, etc, in their fight against UKRP. Then, it was players like Dishmcds, Arthur Wellesley and roadrunner speed that stood accused. Today, their accusers stand accused.

So after all of this time, the new 'old players are ruining the UK' (who I might add, are much older than Iain Keers et al were when they originally argued this point against the aforementioned previous generation of older players), have put themselves in a position where they can rule the UK.

Congress elections next week will almost without a doubt, result in a solid majority for pro-Vendetta candidates. With control of the top two parties, it will take a herculean effort to beat their candidate in the July 5th Presidential poll.

So after all this time, those who have for so long bemoaned the previous generation, have the power to do something for the future generation. The coming month will see not just articles from Don Dapper, Big Ant, Sven and Winston. No, now they are the ruling elite. The political power within the UK, rests squarely on their shoulders.

So at long last, it will no longer be an acceptable excuse that certain members of certain parties are conspiring to stop "new" players. No longer can anyone other than Vendetta claim to have power in the UK. So the month will ultimately show what the 'alternative' is.

The fact that policies from Vendetta so far have been few, far between and abhorrently short of 'how', until now didn't really matter.

The fact that members of Vendetta that would never question their collegeagues, until now was just an accepted part of politics.

The fact that the majority of the decisions any President or Government will make comes not from anything he or she may want or hope for, but as a reaction to changes in the game, movements within international politics or pressure from the rise/fall of allies power, has up until now been all but ignored.



So BigAnt, Dapper, etc, this month is your month. You can rule as I think you will, and just think about your own interests. You can change or challenge that which empowers other parts of our community, at your expense. You can continue as you have until now.

But the difference is, now, you have the power you have craved and done literally anything and everything for. There is nothing else that the UK has left. There are no further positions that you cannot attain. So if after this month where you will undoubtedly have a strong congress majority, and unless you choose to run a Serbian, most likely control the Presidency too, there are still problems in the UK.

Not only will I, but every single one of the UK population will know that you are not the solution. But rather, you are doing to TUP, what TUP did to UKRP, what UKRP did to PCP, what PCP did to whoever.

For the avoidance of doubt, unless the UK's problems are fixed, it's quite clear, that Vendetta is nothing more than 'TUP' - the only difference being who leads and controls.
