[Just a Thought] I guess I should write my Congress article....

Day 1,160, 14:31 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Connor West

Well, it’s that time of the month again when the media of the world becomes flooded with Congressional articles. This is one of them.

NO! I HAVEN’T EVEN RECOVERED FROM LAST TIME!

To begin, since last month, I’ve built up a small list of credentials, they are:
Chief of Public Affairs, BDP x2
Media Leader, BDP x1
Member of Parliament, eUK x1

Anyway, I am again running for Parliament under the banner of the British Democratic Party in the Southeast of England. This election, unlike the last one, I have a voting history in Parliament. I’d like to list the major votes this past term and discuss them a little bit. After all, you should judge an incumbent on what they’ve already done, not what they say they’re going to do.

Legislative Procedure Rules (Passed): My vote: YES / This amendment allows for eUK citizens who aren’t in the House of Commons to sponsor legislation. I feel like this will (and already has) increased activity and player retention.

Inci Citizenship Requests (Rejected): My vote: NO / The Inci are too large a group to give citizenship without expecting major influence on our political system, very dangerous.

Reproposal: Amendment to the House of Commons Act (Passed): My vote: YES / This act replaced the Minister of Legislative Affairs with a Speaker of the House of Commons (without re-instating the House of Lords). As a real-life American, I find it imperative that all branches of government should remain independent of each other (The MoLA was appointed by the Prime Minister), while still working together to reach a common goal.

Look at that guy, he has a record!

I hope that gave you a little insight into how I feel about governance, and how I’ve voted, and will continue to vote, as a Member of Parliament. I will also continue the promise I made last election by continuing to keep my readers informed on what’s going on in Parliament and my votes with a brief explanation.
