It's unfortunate, but smaller population countries tend to get dominated (militarily or politically) by their larger population neighbors, especially in East Asia.

I am the candidate of Gyeongsangnam-do.
I fought in Chungcheongnam-do yesterday and today.
I came to Kanto for the hospital today and did not go back to Gyeongsangnam-do. I am sorry that I did not stay in Gyeongsangnam-do to improve its defense till it fell.
