Military Structure - Starts at the Top

While I am a firm believer of allowing the Military to solve its own problems, and having an apolitical head that is not changed each month, Command relies on activity. Occasionally, this falters, and when it does the entire Military goes into a disarray. There are two primary issues and concerns with the Military, which stem from inactivity:

Leadership by Example

Leadership is a trait that is required even in online gaming. In order to ask people to follow you, you must demonstrate the proper knowledge and ability to both delegate as well as do hard work when required. Someone who refuses to do work, yet expects to be acknowledged is both a hindrance as well as a burden to the rest of the team. In an effort to control this, while the Executive will stay out of military affairs, it will reserve the right to remove leadership and call for promotion within ranks if it sees continual problems within the military command structure.

Opportunity breeds excellence
The other side to this coin is that we need to keep and encourage new players who exhibit ideas and abilities in the lower ranks. Proving yourself is one thing, yet we continually lose lower leveled players because they feel like they go unnoticed, which is something we need to stop. We need to be willing to trust people to lead us to victory if we're going to allow them to grow. The new V2 military structure breeds for smaller groups, and therefore more command. We support younger, newer players taking these roles so long as they exhibit the leadership and work ethic required of them.

Military Companies

It is my belief we should have concentrated on harvesting and constructions when we had the opportunity to migrate our skills last month. As this was not done I believe that we should therefore move the lower skill workers into either building constructions or harvesting oil to produce our own higher quality moving tickets. This will lower costs to move our military around worldwide, improve domestic production of raw materials (and harvesting skill), and improve our constructions building for the long term. It should also save us money.

A Brief word on Foreign Policy

Every CP candidate since we joined PEACE / Phoenix have said the same thing for foreign affairs so to sum it up in a few short sentences rather than a whole long winded section: Our stance is not a drastic change. We will work within Phoenix as we have always done, supporting the UK and in turn our allies and ourselves. We'll remain vigilant and open to any country, but we will, as we always have, put our allies first.
