I'm John Rupert Miranda, Current Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of the Israeli Reform Party, and Knesset member and I'm running for Country President of e-Israel! 🙂

אני ג'ון רופרט מירנדה, שר החוץ הנוכחי, נשיא המפלגה הישראלית הרפורמית, וחבר כנסת ואני רץ לנשיאות ישראל!
My Government Policies/מדיניות הממשלה שלי:


Home Affairs/משרד הפנים
We will put a lot of effort on education to retain new players, by publishing tutorials, offering help through a designated IRC channel (tironut MU) and also encouraging them to be active and get involved (events like article contests and such, improve our activity and it makes fun).

Also I'd like to work closely with the Knesset Speaker (the position hasn't been elected yet by the knesset) to coordinate all matters regarding laws, and the newly created Citizenship Committee, which will review all citizenship applications before giving approval. More details after the election 😁
(the Citizenship Committee/Board/Agency or whatever you want to call it, will be led by the Speaker of the Knesset and other Knesset members will work in it as well). The MoFA should keep this Board posted on all possible threats.


Foreign Affairs
We are committed to continuing our strong ties with our friends in Asteria, as they have helped us in the past, present and hopefully in the future as well, specially Greece.

Israel will continue to support and work towards our goals as a Leto member, however, we won't surrender our interests to political whims. We will defend our own stance on important issues and we will work hard to have a stronger say at Leto HQs.

We will support any measure taken by Leto that seeks to help other member states to recover their regions. There shall be no invasions or wars on a whim while some of our friends don't even appear on the map.
We shall show the world that we care for our friends, otherwise, what is leto for?

This term we will increase the size of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs by appointing senior advisors to the MoFA, opening up new positions for ambassadors and creating internship positions. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign affairs will be the most active ministry in our cabinet. Paraphrasing my friend John TG, we rely more on diplomacy than on our military strength 😉

During my term, pursuing friendship with neutral countries will be important as well. Nil communication + misunderstandings has led in the past to terrible events and unfortunate situations for Israel. We will let the world know that we are a smart country and that we are always going to have an open door for dialogue.


Economic Policy
The Israeli Reform Party believes in a free market society. We will maintain low taxes throughout the term with slight changes. As a small country, having a competitive market is paramount. This translates into competitive = affordable/low prices for our citizens. The government won't interfere in the market to favour a couple of businessmen...if some businesses need the government to help them, then they should not be in the business at all.
All monies from taxation and vats will be used to fund mutual protection pacts and some other defense costs.

We will also continue to publish all government spending and make it more transparent if needs be.

My government will continue to support, boost and fund tironut military unit for younger players.

אנחנו נשים הרבה מאמץ כדי להביא שחקנים חדשים, על ידי פרסומים מדריכים, הצעת עזרה דרך צאנל איי אר סי (של יחידת טירונות) וגם על ידי עידוד שלהם להיות אקטיבים ולהשתתף (על ידי דברים כמו תחרויות, לשפר את רמת הפעילות שלנו ושזה יהיה כיף).

בנוסף אני רוצה לעבוד עם דובר הכנסת (המקום עוד לא נבחר על ידי הכנסת) כדי לתאם את כל הדברים שקשורים להצעות חוק, וכל הדברים שקשורים להנקת אזרחות שעכשיו תעשה בצורה חדשה על ידי בחירת קבוצה שתהיה אחראית על נתינת אזרחות. יותר פרטים על זה אחרי הבחירות.
(הקבוצה/ארגון/קרן/עמותה/חברה או איך שלא תרצו לקרוא לזה שאחראית על האזרחות תהיה בראשות דובר הכנסת, וחברי כנסת אחרים יעבדו בה גם כן). שר החוץ יהיה אחראי לעדכן אותם על כל האיומים האפשריים.

יחסי חוץ
אנחנו עומדים להמשיך לקיים יחסים חזקים עם החברים שלנו באסטריה, כמו שהם עזרו לנו בעבר ובהווה ונקווה שגם בעתיד, בייחוד יוון.

ישראל תמשיך לתמוך בעבודה ובמטרות שלנו בתור חברת ליטו, אבל, אנחנו לא נוותר על האינטרסים שלנו בלי מחשבה. אנחנו נגן על העמדה שלנו על הבעיות החשובות ונמשיך לעבוד על מנת לקבל עמדה וקול חזק יותר במפקדת ליטו.

אנחנו נתמוך בכל מאמץ שנלקח על ידי ליטו לעזור לחברות ברית אחרות לכבוש מחדש את איזוריהם. לא יהיו תקיפות ללא מחשבה או מלחמות סתם בזמן שחלק מחברינו לא נמצאים על המפה. עכשיו נראה לעולם שאנחנו עוזרים לחברים שלנו, אחרת, למה ליטו נמצאת?

הקדנציה הזאת נגדיל את משרד האוצר שלנו על ידי מינוי יועצים מנוסים למשרד, פתיחת משרות חדשות בשביל שגרירים ופתיחת משרות מתלמדים. משרד החוץ הישראלי יהיה המשרד הכי אקטיבי בקבינט שלנו. לצוטט את חברי ג'ון טיגי, נשתמש יותר בדיפלומטיה שלנו מאשר בכוח הצבאי שלנו . (icon)

בזמן הדקנציה שלי, ננסה להשיג יחסים חברתיים של חברות עם מדינות נטרלייות גם כן. אפס תקשורת + אי הבנות גרמו בעבר לתוצאות נוראיות בשביל ישראל. אנחנו ניתן לעולם לדעת איזו מדינה חכמה ישראל ותמיד נהיה עם דלת פתוחה לדיאלוג.

מדיניות כלכלית
המפלגה הישראלית הרפורמית מאמינה בחברת שוק פתוח. אנחנו נשאיר את המיסים נמוכים במהלך כל הקדנציה עם שינויים קלים. בתור מדינה קשה, שיהיה לנו שוק תחרותי זה מאוד חשוב. זה מתורגם לתחרות= ניתן לקנייה, מחיר זול לאזרחים שלנו. הממשלה לא תתערב בשוק אלא לטובת כמה אנשי עסקים... אם כמה עסקים ירצו שהממשלה תתמוך בהם אז הם לא צריכים בכלל להיות עסק.
כל הכסף מהמיסים והמעם ילכו למימון בריתות והסכמים הגנתיים אחרים.

אנחנו נמשיך לפרסם פרסומים ממשלתיים על בזבוז הכסף ונהפוך את זה לשקוף וברור כפי שזה אמור להיות.

הממשלה שלי תתמוך, תעזור, ותממן את יחדית הטירונות לשחקנים חדשים
