[IRE-USA WAR] What the hell is going on?!

The last 24 hours have been hectic.
Our longtime friend, sometime ally and rowdy neighbour the UNITED STATES OF 'MERICA declared war against our island. Just for fun, it seems!

Those devilish fiends wished to catch us off guard as we nursed our hangovers from St. Paddy's.

As this article is released, we are fighting those pin-stripped blue boys in the streets of Cork. You are encouraged to join the fight!

But, do you want to know more?




Yesterday, Day 3773, the USA proposed Ireland as a Natural Enemy (NE).





Today, Day 3774, the NE proposal passed and the USA was able to start their first attack. However, the USA only ever has two borders with Ireland - Shannon and Cork. Unfortunately for the USA, our current camper Peru attacked Shannon (a tactical request by CP and MoD, well done chaps!). The result?



Indeed! The USA was forced to select the only region available, Cork. To my Irish brothers, fight hard in Cork! And have a glorious death! Because, as I watch the USA streamroll our Corkish countryside.... unaware that Cork is the birthplace of the material "cork" used to plug a bottle of wine as the Irish invented wine... we are likely going to lose.


So, what will tomorrow look like?




It will look something like this. The USA will taken Cork, but Peru will likely have taken Shannon and held onto Wexford (no time for a Resistance War in Wexford, not after we purposely lost a Resistance War in Dublin!). And because Cork only borders Shannon and Wexford.... BOOOM! USA will no longer border any region held by Ireland.

Thus ending the Ireland-USA war! Probably! Maybe!

But you might have seen this tactic before.... well, yes, you have!

During our long history of glorious struggle against overwhelming odds, I have seen (and managed) many of our dirtest fights. One of our longest fights was a wipe which lasted a year... by the smelly United Kingdom....

But during those dark days, we had a friend willing to step into our regions and give us a breather... before we once again, took our weapons and fought the good fight.
