[IL] The Arts and the War

Good morning, good evening and good afternoon ladies and gentlemen to whenever and wherever you may be reading this from.

What a busy few weeks it has been IL HQ since the last article. To say the least progress has been booming. With our very own LukePeters taking the reigns as the Comptroller he has resigned as the IL's second commander (Not like there's many perks anyway). Macubex8 has turned over and relinquished the last of his daily supply duties to newly appointed 2nd Commander and eager player Venerable. Venerable, although a fairly new member of the eCan community is IRC active with a personable personality 😉.

With the mention of IRC we are brought into our next topic, Timed Strikes. For the past 2 weeks we have been hosting Timed Strikes, 4 times a week, on our humble IRC channel #iLegion at 17:00 erep time. Timed Strikes are on Tues-Thurs-Sat-Sun. We chat in IRC, get pinged, push the wall a percent of two and have some good fun :3 So the more the merrier. There are no bars on supply, all who show up are given Q6 weapons based on health regardless of MU. That being said the Crimson Cunucks have proposed to join us in our Timed Strikes, an offer we were happy to accept. We hope to see some friendly Crimson faces in our IRC channel now and in the future.


I now present you with some lovely pie of our Timed Strike data that is gathered after every timed strike.

First Timed Strike (Feb 18th)


Our first timed strike was no failure with constant advertising we pulled out 817,533 influence in our first run (mostly thanks to Nosyt and I 😛). While not high in the damage department numbers were good and we had lots of room for improvement.

Fifth Timed Strike (Feb 25th)

Having floodgates open and talks with TCO going well we managed to stay over that million mark with thanks to friends from other MUs.


1,429,247 influence was dealt.

Eighth Timed Strike (March 1st)

Our most recent and most successful strike to date and our first official joint strike with the heavy hitters from TCO. A solid 2,395,994 influence was dealt in the early seconds of the round giving the Irish the much needed push to get the wall of 50% (and then some)


1.5 million damage comes from the home team, the IL
Not to be outdone 800k comes from the away team, TCO
Running across the pitch Sasha dealt 70k on behalf of RWH.

Finally the arts;. The IL has some lovely borders at long last. We're proud to present our first 5 designs with another 15 hopefully on the way.
