[ICA] A step in the right direction

Dear Ireland,

For the past couple of months we have seen the Irish Citizen Army go from being by far the strongest military group, with foreign branches everywhere and a supply system being the envy of many other military units around the world, to being completely neglected, to a point where some may even argue it's dead.
We have seen many great players change MU's, and some even countries, due to what the ICA has been going through for the past few months.
We were once the envy of the world, we are now slammed to the gutter, broken and torn.
This ends now.





Two days ago I was appointed Commander of the Irish Citizen Army, a position I will carry with pride and joy, a position whose authority I shall not abuse, a position whose responsibilities I will gladly take.

The ICA is the oldest, most successful and most influential Military Organisation in e-Irish history. Fighting for Irish interests since Day 784 the ICA places game mechanics above everything else for the purpose of its pursuit of success ingame, but places just as much emphasis on the social side of eRepublik to provide an enjoyable environment for its members. With contacts all over the New World, the ICA is one of the most famous and influential groups in eRepublik. Over the years our membership has been of great diversity. We've had members join from just about every country in the world. The organisation is known by many to be a great place to come play the game. No matter who you are or where you're from you will be welcomed as part of the family in the ICA.
If you have ever considered yourself loyal to the cause of the ICA and find yourself outside of the ICA nowadays, I would ask from you to take a step and get back into the ICA, give it another chance and help us rebuild something great.






The ICA believes in the individual, no matter your ethnic background, political opinion or religion, and to us there is nothing more important than to help our members grow.
We are always investing time into helping players out, be it economically, socially, militarily or politically. We have experts in pretty much every field possible in the game, and we are all standing here with our arms wide open, willing to take anyone on board and guide them to something great in eRepublik.
We will do our best to help you achieve your personal ambitions, as we believe that impossible is a word only to be found in the dictionary of fools.







Our soldiers receive supplies of 16 Q6 tanks per day, to maximize the damage we can deal to aid Ireland and her allies in their time of need.
We have located our military production communes in countries with a high production maximizing our production and therefore our firepower.







The ICA is brining back our famous "Super Sundays".
A few nights per week, Sunday being the most popular, we will get back to arranging coordinated strikes, where the ICA as a team gathers up to fight together in a battle for Ireland or her allies.
I hope you can make it to #eICA as often as possible, because if you can be on each night between 13:00-15:00 eRep time(9pm-11pm Irish) the chances are that we will be holding a coordinated strike which everyone is free to join.
Members who show up in time for strikes will quite likely receive extra supplies for the strike!





Family, brotherhood and friendship are the three most important things in the ICA. In the ICA our members take care and help each other in times of need no matter what. We believe that a strong community is vital to the survival of a military unit, and thus one of our main requirements is a good sense of humour.
The heart of the ICA is our IRC channel, #eICA.
Here you can fight alongside friends on the battlefield, chill out and have the craic and banter with others or just ask any questions you have regarding eRepublik/e-Ireland/ICA/Current Battles etc. The chances of you experiencing more success within eRepublik if you regularly visit this channel are very large.





All members, new or old, are treated as a part of our family in the ICA. We assist everyone based on their own values, and once you're a part of this family you will receive all the help and support you will need to get where you want in eRepublik.





There are only a few basic requirements for joining the Irish Citizen Army.

Non-optional:
• Activity. Must fight regularly and make an effort to come on #eICA.
• Must Wear Avatar. A personalised avatar will be made with the image you want.
• Must have a sense of humour. By times there is a lot of trolling/banter in ICA but it is not intended to be taken seriously.
• Loyalty. If you do not have this quality then do not apply for ICA.
• Teamwork. If you are not willing to be a good team player then do not apply for ICA.

Optional
• Work in ICA Company. If you wish to receive Daily Supplies you must work in an ICA Company.
