[IA] Pulse Extension - Optional Extra

Hello everyone.
This article is for Irish Army members and anyone intending to join the Irish Army in the near future. I would like everyone to consider downloading the following browser extension: Pulsetracker. The extension for Chrome can be found here:

It looks kind of like this:
Pulse in itself will give you various elements of information about the game, damage done, max hit etc on your eRepublik screen. But the main reason why I would like you to download the extension is that it gives us detailed information about what individual soldiers are doing.
In that sense, the Pulse extension is intrusive, and that is why I am only suggesting that it's an optional extra. To give you an example of the information it gives, you need to visit the eGov4U site and we'll use me as an example.

With this information we can track the campaigns you have been involved in and just as important, which side you were fighting for. To be clear, one of the most important aspects in a good military structure is discipline. We know that you're going to complete your DO. What we don't know is what you are going to do afterwards.
Like I said, this is not obligatory in any way. However, it's likely that in the near future, changes will be made to the IA structure that could be of a personal and collective benefit to you, our soldiers and comrades-in-arms.
It's likely that in order to avail of these, you will need the pulse tracker.

Chrome is crap for extensions. Half the ones I've got on don't work.
I switched Pulse back on last night and off again this morning as it was messing with the battle page. It's good in principle, but buggy as hell for me.

It obviously works for me, and it's been a constant for the last 16 months.. The main issue is when eGov4U is down.

Wouldn't say cheers, I only ever fight in vital Irish battles so I can concentrate on training up my strength. I'd rather not enter d4 understrength.

kurgan is not a member of our mu but he has some points. remember we have a app that works out how much weps we get based on our damage for the day. so therefore there is already something in place to encourage us to fight. lets call it what it is malbekh's proposal is just plain stupid.

I use DoNotTrackMe and other programs for privacy. So I'm not going to voluntarily give up any more information access. It's nothing personal, but there are to many out there looking to collect any possible data that they can.
That's no problem Ryan, that's why it's optional.
I have this extension at the moment, its a useful tool for tracking my own damage. The tool is used alot in the mercenary world by merc MUs to pay their members based on what specific battles they fought and earned in. There is a State funded Italian MU which make this tool mandatory because State pays for the specific damage of a solider done in a funded battle.
There is great opportunity for Army members to try something new in the military world, such as Army fund raising by taking part in paid strikes for friends of Ireland, which this sort of tool would aid greatly. Or if strict criteria was set for Fianna membership, the tool would allow more informed decisions on whos truly fighting in mobile battles (which would help non-IRCers, as IRCers tend to get their battle activity noticed more). But obviously its an extra! Rather than a foundation, and not useful in all aspects of Army life.
Certainly a good feature on the route to trying to accommodate every play style, nice one D&T. Not useful for Ryan, but maybe useful for someone else. And RTK, I think you lack imagination.. the applications aren't particularly anymore useful to the supply system, but as evident by the fact this tool is used across the New World by some of the best MUs out there, there are other useful applications for it.
