Hello dear eSingapore!
First of all I want to inform you that the congress and the president have been working overtime this week in order to kick-start the economy, so this is one of the main reason why lately there have been so few articles in the press.
Ok, so to recap:
What did the new government do so far :
- Changed taxes for : Food, Weapons
- Changed the Citizen Message ( the one that every new citizen receives when they join erepublik )
- Signed MMPs with : Indonesia,Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Serbia, Argentina
- Changed the Minimum Wage ( so the new players have more money. that's 15 times more money than what the old government was giving)
- Proposed Malaysia as a Natural Enemy ( in order to get bonuses when training and to be able to make the 300 kills new years eve mission )
There is more to come :
More MMPs, More Training Wars and we have started inviting people from RL Singapore and we are hoping that that will materialise as a mini baby boom.
Also, there have been some acusations made against the new government . That we are stealing money from the country's treasury.
Well that makes no sense: The country has in total about 400G.
We used about 2000 Gold from OUR OWN MONEY, in 1 DAY, defending Singapore on the 25th last month when the OLD government, runned by Alimilano & Yzzy & MAKalin & Leonard, tried to sell the country and cash out!
Well we did not let them do that and now they are spreading lies and troll around! Good job, we know that YOU can't to better!

They say that we steal money from country accounts, but we didnt took 1 SGD for us ... so strange ... they got loans from country accounts and they dont want to return the money back ... that`s not stealing, that`s beeing fair = ))

In my opinion the next thing on the list would be renting some bonuses and boosting up the salaries on the job market. I know this will take time, but I have faith in you!

Strangely, I think thanks you some of the changes, the economy is slowly improving. And I agree with Art_vandalayi, bonuses, and higher wages is the next step
