Hello. So, I decided to try being a journalist as well. I present you the first edition of the magazine Amagazing!, which will be dedicated to people. Since first of all, eRepublik is a place where you can meet a lot of new people, gain their trust and even get famous. That's why I am interested how it happens. Now a lot of names are encrypted into eRussia’s history, the names that used to have, as well as do now, the trust of the country's government, the electorate and the overall population that is far from politics. Today I address a single question to the most well-known citizens of eRussia: former or unaccomplished presidents, parties' leaders, politicians, businessmen, military men and journalists. Well,

How to earn trust in eRepublik?

— You should make everybody to distrust of all the rest — that's quite obvious. All in all, write interesting articles and entertain the people. I've chosen the second way.

— The easiest way is to get the position somewhere where you can show good results and work well. We're facing the lack of people everywhere, so the attitude towards the unknown players is ok. Still, the nation-wide love isn't the obligatory condition for my work)).
Bonus answer: how to cause distrust: to be a good minister of foreign affairs.

— Well, i suppose, there are lots of ways. The most neutral is probably not to be a deadhead. Always do just something (you don't need to shred your body parts into geometric shapes). Of course, you should communicate — the more you do, the better. And you definitely should have a newspaper 🙂

http://i45.tinypic.com/30uzvjr.jpg" width="45" height="45" hspace="5" vspace="3" align="left"> chebbbathe permanent representative of eRussia in PEACE, PeaceKeeper, a prominent player on the international arena and, as it was revealed recently, the national mascot:
— Trust? That's just like love. There's love to Motherland, to nature, to literature, to a human. The same thing is with trust: your e-friends can trust you and your e-enemies can distrust you. There are several simple rules:
1. Never betray your friends. This is true both for friends as the eRepublik characters and for some particular friendly countries 🙂
2. Never steal, pay your debts (it's better to say that you're going to be late with that but you will pay it all up to the last cent).
3. Always defend your country's interests, not the interest of parties and other players. One player is worthless, he should have an aim, and in such a nationalistic game as eRepublik this aim is the prosperity of your country
4. As far as it's possible — don't lie within your country. You can tell your enemies whatever you want.
5. Don't fall into despair. Despair is the sign of weakness, and weakness, unfortunately, doesn't give the opportunity to trust a person that doesn't see any ways out.

— The answer is rather simple: respect people, do deeds, not just speak, be sensible, reliable and consistent, seek not to make things that would make you ashamed after getting to know in reality. And, of course, be keen on this game, sacrificing your time and effort.

http://i46.tinypic.com/ei08jk.jpg" width="45" height="45" hspace="5" vspace="3" align="left"> Maria Radchenko a member of Dark Empire Party's Superior Council, journalist, 4epT's wife:
— To earn trust, you only need to be respectful to your allies and opponents. You shouldn't cress the boundaries even during arguments. That's just banal politeness to others. Emotions can differ, but insulting people has never been a god way of establishing a relationship 🙂 You should be able to admit your mistakes or at least seek learning to do it. And, well, not to engage in incidents with "informational resources" 🙂.

http://i48.tinypic.com/282kl0z.jpg" width="45" height="45" hspace="5" vspace="3" align="left"> 4epT earned trust step by step: joined Empire (Habra then), started to communicate with party's Council representatives; proposed various ideas and was included into the party Council; organized some of the party's departments; created the HabraReaction detachments based on the party; met eRussia's president in real life and got an approval for government financial support of the detachments; became the MOD, now he is the head of the party+ vice speaker of the Congress and actually President:
— Answering he question "how to earn trust in eRepublik?" i would like to give the idea that it is very hard to earn the trust of the population, just impossibly hard. But to earn the trust of the majority that interests you is a whole another story. You can satisfy two-clickers by free giveaways, the government by working well, the parliament by actively participating in discussions, the party authority by interesting ideas... Every place has a different way of earning trust- difficult or not, the only thing i'm sure - there are some.

— Trust can be earned in multiple ways. Some earn it by mass gun giveaways, some get their portion of adoring fans by writing vivid disclosures, some by rocking the masses and fanning issues, and well, some by just working for eRussia's good.
Trust varies. I have been convinced many times that even the tiniest well-promoted deed can be enough for people to hate or blindly fall in love with an absolutely unknown person. In addition, it's almost impossible to awaken them or open their eyes then.
No doubt that eRepublik is a small model of the real world, and practicing in manipulation mass intelligence in exciting activity, but I prefer other ways.
Every person wants to achieve success. Some may engage in managerial, general, global issues. Some find it easier and/or more interesting to go deep into a particular activity. For instance, we never had any competent military experts, and as far I know do not have any now. But a demand for them existed, exists and will exist, because it is an essential part of the game.
Find your niche, seriously take it up and you will definitely achieve success and overall recognition as a result.

— Just not lying them.
— But how you can say that when you turned to be a liar during your presidency in eRussia?
— Because I made a mistake, and betrayed the trust of eRussia 🙂

— The answer is short: the same way as in real life: keep your promises and never deceive.

— "How to earn trust in eRep?" Eeeh. I don't know. The same way you do it in real life. That is, the game is a social one. I am always surprised, when my articles with ideas crawl into somebody's heads and grow roots there.

—Working hard and not lying. That's the recipe. When people find hard to believe that a spy or a traitor of some sorts would work *SO* hard for something, you have won. Meanwhile, don't give them reasons to doubt on you - that's the "not lying" part of it.

— How do you earn trust? Hm... work hard, be creative, keep your promises, be able to entertain, know how to speak and listen. Do something useful and interesting for the people. You have to perceive all the responsibility you carry. You need the ability to manage people. You have to seek making unbiased decisions and be guided only by facts, not emotions. Not to argue or be rude. Seek to avoid squabbles. I'm now retired and considering to engage in eArcheology. This is my recipe.

Oh, right, also brought Moredan et. al. to nervous breakdowns.
— As for me, I'm not going to move a finger to win someone's trust. Actually, this is my last term in the Duma - to make way for young people. I hope the next generation will not bring shame upon us. and i will be able to two-click comfortably and read press once a day.

— You only can earn trust by your actions, the same way as in RL. All the well-known people of eRussia got famous by their deeds for the country's good. Some through their articles, some through less visible but nonetheless just as much useful activity, like DOSAAF instructors. Another options is to become an active troll. But it is a whole other topic to discuss, That's why if you want to get famous- be active and sooner or later your fame will reach you.
