[HN] The Deplorable State of the Malaysian Congress

Day 1,324, 13:11 Published in Malaysia USA by Sir Hypnotoad

Malaysia, we have just elected a new President, and along with him, a new Cabinet for the next month. This President (and his Cabinet) appears to be extremely promising in the area of activity; something which has been lacking in the eMalaysian Government for some time.

It is because this President looks to be active, and have an active Cabinet; that the Malaysian Congress must step up to a new level of activity! Currently, the Congress does nothing. It has barely even fulfilled it's traditional role of a rubber-stamp for the President's legislation.

Malaysia, it's time for change!

It is to this end that I have proposed the Congressional Efficiency Act to the Congress. This act, if approved, will empower the Congress to act independently of the President, while providing a Standard Operating Procedure for the Congress. I ask all Congressmen to participate in the discussion!
