[GOV] - Recruiting Tutors

First of all, let me thank our CP Jason who gave me permission to use [GOV] tag, even if this isn't properly a governative initiative.

There are great news!

We finally managed to start the tutoring program for new players and now we’re recruiting one (at least, better two) more people to help new citizens.

This is a serious program, organized by game admins, so there are some strict rules that must be respecte😛
- To be a native of the Country (so e-born in Switzerland) (we could also relinquish this point, if needed)
- To have played eRepublik for at least 6 months
- No penalties for breaking eRepublik Rules or Terms.
- Very good knowledge of French and, eventually, German (the best would be both French and German)

It is NOT required a presence in IRC (also if it could be useful to coordinate), but IT IS required a good presence in game to communicate with newbies.

There are also further rules to follow, but if you satisfy all requirements you can send me an in game PM to request for application.

A kind of reward is also provided (even if we shouldn’t do this just for reward), but I will talk about this only to players who apply for this position and turn out to be adequate candidates.

You're really cutting into that target audience. The overwhelming majority of players quit long before 6 months. Naturalization is a problem because people move around freely. Anyone who cares enough to want to help (not sure if keeping people around eRep is helping them or not) probably have opinions. Opinions in eRep have proven to sometimes earn you penalties. Throw in the language requirements and I'm going to say, conservatively, you're looking at ~1/2 of 1% of the eRep population (zombies, multi's, and discontents included)

Another option might be to ask for a show of virtual hands inquiring who would be willing to mentor new players. Starting with a larger, less segmented pool is always a good place to start.

Well, I agree with you, but unfortunately those requirements weren't set by me but admins did it, so I don't have any power to relinquish them. The only requirement they would relinquish is the first one (Native of country), the other ones must be strictly followed.
