[Gov] Address to the nation

Day 1,489, 16:24 Published in Ireland Ireland by ChewChewShoe
Obligatory theme music.

Dear Ireland, it is not with my usual feelings of joy and excitement that I begin writing you this letter today. It is not with my usual sense of humour or comfortability that I write you this letter today.
The feelings that I can feel as of now are sorrow, yet pride. Pride of our nation.

It has recently come to our attention that the Kingdom of Belgium as ruthlessly and cowardly attacked one of the Republic of Ireland's dear allies, namely the French Republic, who has taken side with our Republic in our war against a nation set on occupying and terrorizing our people.
The French Republic has for a long period of time defended the cause and beliefs of our Republic, for good and for bad.

This arrogant and naive attempt to weaken the cause of the Republic of Ireland and her allies will not be tolerated.
They have for long now attempted to keep us from practising our freedom, they have for long now attempted to place us under the rule of the British crown, they have for long now tried to catch an ounce of respect from the oppressive nations that are the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Republic of Poland, but in vain.

The Kingdom of Belgium was once a nation we considered a friend.
A nation that helped us, in exchange for us helping them. These times have since passed, and it seems both the populace and government of said nation has given in to fear, lies and temporary safety. They have allowed their fear to oppress and destroy their ideals, and they have lost every last ounce of respect they once held.

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin.

I am personally disappointed to see what the Kingdom of Belgium has become. But at the same time I am proud to see what the Republic of Ireland is.
We will never falter, we'll stand our ground.

Following the collapse in relations between the Republic of Ireland and the Kingdom of Belgium due to Belgium's arrogance and lack of respect to any nation in the eWorld, the Republic of Ireland, with these words, officially declare war upon said nation.

"In Erin's cause, come woe or weal, Mid cannon's roar and rifles peal, We'll chant a soldier's song!"
