[GNIL4CP] Raise the Bar, Lower the Threshold

Day 3,752, 16:52 Published in USA USA by Gnilraps

Date: Day 3718 of the New World

I am excited to run for Country President again.

I want you to get as excited about it as I am. So for my first campaign article, I want to lay out some philosophical underpinnings about my Administration that I intend to treat as promises. This is what the Executive Branch of eUS Government is going to look and feel like for as long as you and I keep it going. 1 month? 2 months? 3? We’ll see. But my goal is to make such good work of it that we'll all want to keep things in place.

In a Gnilraps White House, the Executive Branch will not be populated by the following kinds of people:

Incessantly rude
Incurably stupid
Desparately lazy

Government that is serving its people cannot if it is rude, stupid, or lazy.

By raising the bar on what a Government worker looks and sounds like, eUSA stands a better chance of being a good environment for gameplay.

In a Gnilraps White House, the Executive Branch will take full responsibility for engaging the entire ingame eUSA community.

In fact, from day 1 you will begin to see changes in how we are conducting our affairs. For starters, you can expect the number of people involved in the Federal Government to increase. This is a game that thrives on activity, and it’s leadership’s job to make that happen. Our current system is being run by a very few people who are always readily available but who are not always proactive. eRepublik is a horrible game when it is on low idle. But when you press the throttle, there is much fun to be had.

By lowering the threshold for getting into Government, we will be increasing the overall activity level in eUSA.

In a Gnilraps White House, the Executive Branch will be committed to improving eUSA’s rankings among the world powers. We are capable of being a top-3 producer of damage in the skies. I want to make that happen. Starting on Day 1, eUSA will begin a long-term focused project to earn improve our already decent capabilities in Air Combat.

By raising the bar on Air Damage Output, eUSA will experience a substantive benefit in our Foreign Affairs and Pacifica will be that much more of a force.

In a Gnilraps White House, the Executive Branch will once more be committed to the education of eAmerican citizens. The game has seen a trickle of returning players recently, and my work with them has reminded me how much our game has changed in two years. New players can easily make small mistakes, returning players can easily make huge mistakes. We MUST have an active Education program at the National level, because critical mistakes lead to logouts.

By lowering the threshold for playing the game well eUSA positions itself to retain new and returning players.

So this is the philosophy of a Gnilraps White House:

Raise the Bar, Lower the Threshold

Raise the bar on every metric that makes us better.
Lower the threshold of every doorway into our community.

Raising the bar means expecting and achieving more excellence in what we do.
Lowering the threshold means eliminating roadblocks and stumbling stones.

Let’s make it a Gnilraps White House by electing me Country President on March 5th. And I vow to leave things in better shape than I’ll find them.

Keep watching as election day draws nearer for more information on all that we will plan to accomplish together.
