[Global Stats] Active Citizens and Political Votes

Unfortunately this article is going to be boring as a snail but since no one else bored us to death with these types of statistics I decided to do it.

The following statistics are based on the number of active citizens in each country and the political votes validated by eRepublik system for the Congress and Presidential Elections.

The percentage is a direct report on the active citizens on the 25th or 5th of each month and the number of votes validated.









A few personal notes.

1. Globally the interest for the political module decreased from 22% in August 2015 to 18% in January 2016 (based on the presidential numbers). Of course that the "Dictatorship System" was a direct factor in the decrease of the political interest.

2. Only 18-19% of the players are interested in the politics. Or even more I think it is safe to say that this percentage reflects the REAL number of active players inside eRepublik. So, even if the number displayed by eRepublik is above 88.000 players less than 16.000 are playing this game. The rest are visitors, players too small to influence the game or simply clones.

3. Indonesia has, for a few months now, a baby-boom (with an increase of players from ~1.200 to ~10.000) but based on the political votes the registered players haven't reached the point in which they would be interested in the political module (the votes were in August 2015: 255 and in January 2016: 180).

4. There are 18 countries with more than 2.000 active players:
- Argentina: ~5.000
- Brazil: ~5.000
- Bulgaria: ~2.000
- Chile: ~2.000
- Croatia: ~2.000
- Georgia: ~ 5.000 (a new baby-boom here)
- Greece: ~2.000
- Hungary: ~2.000
- Indonesia: ~10.000
- Polan😛 ~4.000
- Rep. of Macedonia (FYROM): ~2.000
- Romania: ~3.000
- Russia: ~2.000
- Serbia: ~6.500
- Spain: ~2.000
- Turkey: ~3.000
- Ukraine: ~2.500
- USA: ~2.500

These 18 countries concentrate: 64.000 active players ~73% of the world's population so yeah, the other 56 countries are just to complete a large map with blank spaces.
