[FUP] Back in Business

UPDATE: To our great joy we have gotten our party back. Yes, Federal Unity Party is back on the map. Everyone who left the party should rejoin, and everyone else should JOIN! A big thank you to admins for fixing this problem, and to Nagyzee who was kind enough to help in our time of need. Also a big thanks to everyone else who helped spreading the word, voting this article up and reporting the issue to the admins.

A lot has happened during the last few days. After some difficulties and a below average result during the last congress elections things took a turn for the worse. I am of course talking about the disapearence of our beloved party. Suddenly, without any logical reason the Fedeeral Unity Party ceased to exist. No one is sure what really happened but we are working hard on retrieving the party. Currently we can't say when this will be done, but we are in constant touch with the admins trying to sort this out. Unfortunately some other issues are prioritized at the moment.

I assure you however that the old FUP will be back and that we will continue working towards a better Malaysia. Meanwhile we have gotten a new party so we can continue our work until this issue gets resolved. Therefore I ask all old FUP members and I also invite all of our newbies to join The New Federal Unity Party, which will be the bases of our operations these coming few days.

The second issue I would like to adress is the sudden resignation of our current president, ww88, from all positions in eMalaysia. It is truly a sad day when one of the most loyal eMalaysian citizens leaves this country, because he feels forced to do so. Just a few days ago he was proud of the support he had gotten from the people of this country, and he was even about to run for a second term in the presidents office. Something changed however, and it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, to see such a valuable asset to our nation leave in such a manner. Apart from a great leader, he was also a great friend, and a mentor always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter how busy he was. You will be missed!

This also means that the responsibility of running for president falls upon me. I take this time to officially announce my candidacy. More on this will follow in another article.

Lastly I wish a warm welcome back to gen_tiger, a FUP senior perhaps not known to our most recent generation. If you were to chose one man in the whole party who has worked the hardest and who was most instrumental in bringing FUP to the heights we achieved, being the biggest party in eMalaysia, it is this man. Shortly he will be taking over the seat of Party President to help us reach even greater heights.
