Progressive: one believing in moderate political change and especially social improvement by governmental action

That seems really basic. And it's an actual real life ideology that will work in the game. Improve social efforts through moderate change by the government. Let's take a look at a few of the ways the government could provide these moderate changes.

1. A "Meals on Wheels" type program for new and impoverished citizens.
This is very simple to implement. Get a line budget item for a Department or Ministry of the Interior and set up a welcome section in the ePhilippines Forums. Add a link the the New Citizens Message (NCM), and make sure it's well publicized in newspapers in the game. Once you've done this, you've got yourself a successful Meals on Wheels program. You improve the activity level on the forums and you improve the wellness of your citizens.

2. Educational material for new and dumb citizens
This isn't a slight on any new citizens, but learning the ins and outs of this game without help is difficult to say the least. What should you spend your first amounts of money on? When is it time to open up a business? What type of business is best for beginners? Even older citizens like myself have difficulties with aspects of the game. If (and I'm going to use American terms, because I'm RL American and it's easier for me to grasp this, replace Department with Ministry if you are European if you need a translation 😛 ) the Department of Interior, or even a different one like a Department of Education, focused on this and got a guide on how to start off the game on, say, the forums(?!?) and they advertised it heavily in newspapers and the NCM, then you could have new and dumber players get educated. Again, this would increase traffic to the forums, which would make them livelier, and it would spark interest and increase activity and retention.

3. Game Nights
The ePhilippines used to have a Ministry of Fun or something to that extent (I don't know the exact wording that was used). There are 1000's of online games that can be played, from Balloono and Battleship on OMGPop to Risk and Supremacy and Monopoly. You could restart this ministry, and get a very small slushfund (keyword SMALL) together for this to work. All they would have to do is offer something of value to the citizens (GOLD, weapons, food) and people will flock to join something that they could win free stuff.

I've got 1000's of these little ideas. If you are someone who could get behind making some real change by tweaking little things in the government like this, then you should join like minded Progressives in the Philippines Progressive Party.

I know this isn't the PPP logo (yet), but it's something cool I made and it's got one of the most Progressive minded people as the logo, and he even has Filipino ties.

Remember it's election day on Monday, and if you are a resident of Mindanao, then you should vote for me. If you aren't then vote for another member of the PPP.
