[FHK] Fun with the goldmines [EN|DE]

Every once in a while, admins introduce a new fancy feature or module, this time it’s a goldmine. A total sum of 500.000 gold will be spread over the market, this is going to have a nice impact on the current exchangerates of the monetarymarket (it just went crazy yesterday and changed from 0.004 to 0.005). I guess as soon as these goldmines will be added ingame, the market will change again.

Among with this “improvement” of the game, several interesting things happened. In short, the world has been divided into 5 areas where each of those will get one goldmine after the contest has ended. Being located in the reallife capital, the goldmines will change their owner as soon as those regions have been conquered or are already conquered.

There was actually almost no doubt that Serbia would get the European Goldmine, they are already leading the contest with a huge advantage.



I also thought that Poland would be able to gain ground in China and with that the possibility to get an own goldmine, but apparently they were fought back. But now another country has shown up on the asian continent: Turkey.



Right now they have the best chances to get the goldmine as they are currently fighting against Serbia and Bulgaria. Furthermore China does not have any active war right now, but there might be some action against Japan soon. But being in Turkeys position right now is not as comfortable as it seems like, there are lots of bigger countries in the near neighbourhood who would definitely struggle for the goldmine if it will be placed in Turkey.



Africa looks funny as well. I never thought that Egypt would make demands on the goldmine. How did that happen? That’s quite an easy question and a smart move from the countries involved. The pto’ed Egypt started to accept citizenshiprequests from highstrength players from Spain and Bulgaria.




Almost the same time South Africa started to do the same, letting in several strong players from Brazil. This is going to be a funny but tough race.




But it’s pretty sure that either Brazil in South Africa or Bulgaria / Greece is going to win the mine in Egypt.

The fourth region is Oceania, having just 2 countries as well as Africa. Namely New Zealand and Australia are fighting for a goldmine. But no matter of the outcome, this is going to be one of the most interesting places in the upcoming days. Several countries already claimed the goldmine of Oceania to be theirs. Poland recently rejected two MPPs with CoT-countries such as Chile or Lithuania. Rumours say they are preparing for an airstrike, not signing those two CoT-MPPs could be the first sign of an airstrike heading towards Oceania. They already gained all necessary goods to start it.



The fifth and last region, America, seems to be as clear as the european one. The USA are leading the scoreboard with an advantage of almost 15.000.000.000 influence. Currently there are neither signs of of an airstrike going out from the US nor an attack or airstrike into the USA.



Hin und wieder führen die Admins ein neues Feature oder ein neues Modul ein, diesmal ist es eine Goldmine. Eine Gesamtsumme von 500.000 Gold wird auf den Markt geworfen, das wird einen netten Einfluss auf die Wechselkurse auf dem Devisenmarkt haben, der gestern eh schon verrückt gespielt hat, als es von 1 DEM = 0.004 auf 1 DEM = 0.005 Gold ging. Ich denke, sobald die Minen implementiert sind, wird es erneut starke Schwankungen geben.

Zusammen mit dieser “Verbesserung” des Spiels, passierten einige interessante Dinge. Kurzgesagt: Die Welt wurde in 5 Kontinente eingeteilt, jeder Kontinent wird nach dem Wettbewerb eine Goldmine bekommen. Diese stehen dann in den RL-Hauptstädten, werden aber, sobald der Besitzer der Region wechselt, ebenfalls den Besitzer wechseln.

Es gab fast keinen Zweifel daran, dass Serbien die europäische Goldmine gewinnen würde, sie führen den Wettbewerb schon mit riesigem Vorsprung an.



Ich dachte ebenfalls, dass Polen in China Fuß fassen könnte und damit die Möglichkeit auf eine Goldmine bekäme, aber unvorhergesehenerweise wurden sie wieder aus China geschmissen. Jetzt aber hat aber ein anderes Land auf dem asiatischen Kontent Besitzansprüche gemeldet: Türkei



Momentan haben sie die besten Karten, da sie derzeit gegen Serbien and Bulgarien kämpfen.
Außerdem hat China keinen aktiven Krieg, eventuell bahnt sich aber etwas gegen Japan an. Aber in der Situation der Türkei zu sein ist nicht so komfortabel wie es sich anhört, es gibt viele starke Länder in der näheren Nachbarschaft, die definitiv nach einer Goldmine streben werden, wenn es eine in der Türkei geben sollte.



Die Situation in Afrika sieht auch lustig aus. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass Ägypten eine Goldmine erkämpfen könnte. Wie ist das passiert? Eigentlich eine einfache Frage und ein cleverer Schwachzug der involvierten Länder. Das pto’te Ägypten hat angefangen, starke spanische und bulgarische Spieler ins Land zu lassen.




Fast gleichzeitig hat Südafrika das gleiche getan, sie haben sich Verstärkung aus Brasilien organisiert. Das wird bestimmt ein harter Kampf um die Mine.




Ganz egal wie das Rennen ausgeht, entweder Brasilien oder Bulgarien / Griechenland werden sich die jeweilige Goldmine sichern.

Die vierte Region ist Ozeanien mit ebenfalls wie Afrika nur 2 Ländern. Namentlich sind es Neuseeland und Australien, die um eine Mine kämpfen. Aber ganz unabhängig vom Ergebnis, wird diese Region eine der interessantesten in den nächsten Tagen. Verschiedene Länder haben bereits Interesse an der Region geäußert. Polen hat vor kurzem zwei MPPs mit CoT-Ländern, Chile und Litauen, abgelehnt. Gerüchte besagen, dass sich Polen auf einen Luftschlag vorbereitet, der vermutlich in Richtung Ozeanien geht. Sie haben bereits alle benötigten Ressourcen gesammelt.



Wir dürfen also gespannt sein, was uns bald erwartet. Eins ist aber sicher: es wird der eine oder andere Luftschlag dabei sein, denn auch die USA werden mit Sicherheit der ein oder anderen Bedrohung ausgesetzt werden. Derzeit führen sie mit einem unglaublichen Vorsprung von 15 Milliarden Schaden die Rangleiste in Amerika an. Weiterhin gibt es weder Anzeichen eines Luftschlags in Richtung USA noch Hinweise darauf, dass die USA selbst einen Angriff oder Luftschlag planen.
