[FHK] Boredom 2.0? The attempt to find an alliance [EN|DE]

It’s been almost three month since my last article about the alliancesituation in our beloved Germany. What has happened in the past? Actually it’s quite a lot but still not enough.

The status quo: we are still without an alliance

We as a nation followed the course of our last governments, fighting in the important battles of Circle of Trust, thus still wanting to get in that alliance. Thanks to the good work of the foreign affairs-teams we managed to increase our MPP-stack a bit, having 8 MPPs makes it a lot easier to find suitable battles for our daily orders, furthermore there’s nearly 24/7 a battle running. Another notable fact is that, other than before, 100% of our MPPs are made with CoT-countries.

The effort spent on the battles of CoT is not left unnoticed. Quite a few countries from CoT recognized our orders and damage made for their countries. Especially together with Lithuania we are running a nice campaign against the nordic countries from Asgard.

Why didn’t we become a member yet?

That’s probably the question most people ask right now. To be honest, I don’t really know. We made several official statements to be willing to join the Circle of Trust and we had talks with most of the representatives of the different countries, it seemed to work out. The problem is that according to their alliance-charta an applying country needs 100% acceptance of all the 15 current members. Considering our current geopolitical situation, none of the current CoT-countries has any problems with us. Those countries being in the near neighbourhood are friendly towards us. That’s why I think a few or maybe just one country either does not want us in the alliance (only Plato knows why) or is under pressure from TWO-countries not to accept us.

What has TWO to do with CoT?

During the last months TWO and CoT have been cooperating to destroy all EDEN empires. They had the same enemy and the same goals. But things have changed a bit. EDEN is still “alive”. At least the name still exists. Romania, Italy and now Croatia already left EDEN. Although Greece is still an official member, rumours say that both Romania (already signed TWO-MPPs) & Greece are about to join the TWO-alliance. The two remaining superpowers, China and Turkey, will surely be searching a new alliance as well as the rest of the alliance is way too weak.

Knowing this facts a new problem is going to rise up: boredom for CoT and TWO. Two big alliances with strong countries on each side who had the same opponents before would be left without any victims, meaning sooner or later they have to fight eachother. The first results of that can be seen at the ongoing war between Romania (pro-TWO) and Bulgaria (CoT).

Yeah yeah, I know that, but what about Germany?

If it comes to the big war against TWO and CoT and we’d join CoT, Germany would be the one being in a strategical important position. Saxony being the only traderoute for Poland makes us an important ally. With a single won resistance war we could cut all the polish bonuses. We would be forced to rebel against the polish occupation. We would do so, no matter if we have a treaty with Poland or not, if the alliance says so, as we’ve always been loyal to our allies.

This could be one of the reasons why TWO-countries don’t want us to join an alliance. Another reason could be that we fought off several serbia pto-groups in Germany and Denmark, maybe thus one of the serbian sattelite states, who is currently a member of CoT, is veto-ing us. I for myself cannot think of any other reasons, as there are none.



Es sind schon fast drei Monate seit meinem letzten Artikel über die Allianzsituation in unserem geliebten Deutschland vergangen. Was ist bis jetzt passiert? Ehrlich gesagt recht viel, aber leider noch nicht genug.

Der Status Quo: wir sind immer noch ohne Allianz

Wir als Nation sind dem Kurs unserer letzten Regierungen gefolgt, haben in den wichtigsten Schlachten für Circle of Trust gekämpft und wollen deshalb immer noch in die Allianz. Dank der guten Arbeit der Außenministerien haben wir es geschafft, unsere Bündnisliste zu verstärken, mit mittlerweile 8 MPPs ist es sehr viel einfacher, Kämpfe für die Täglichen Befehle zu finden, außerdem gibt es fast rund um die Uhr Kämpfe. Eine weitere bemerkenswerte Sache ist, dass 100% unserer MPPs mit CoT-Ländern geschlossen wurden.

Der Einsatz in den CoT-Schlachten ist nicht unbemerkt geblieben. Viele der CoT-Länder haben unsere Befehle und gemachten Schaden für ihre Länder verfolgt. Besonders zusammen mit Litauen arbeiten wir gegen unsere nördlichen Nachbarn von Asgard.

Warum sind wir immer noch kein Mitglied?

Das ist die Frage, die sich wahrscheinlich die meisten gerade stellen. Um ehrlich zu sein, ich weiß es nicht. Wir haben mehrfach offizielle Statements abgegeben, dass wir dem Circle of Trust beitreten wollen und wir hatten viele Gespräche mit den Repräsentanten der verschiedenen Länder, bei denen es gar nicht schlecht aussah. Das Problem ist, dass für einen Beitritt laut Allianz-Charta alle 15 Mitglieder zustimmen müssen. Bedenkt man unsere derzeitige geopolitische Lage, dürfte kein CoT-Land ein Problem mit uns haben. Zu den Ländern, die in unserer näheren Nachbarschaft sind, pflegen wir ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Deshalb denke ich, dass es an einem oder ganz wenigen Ländern liegen wird (Nur Plato weiß warum) oder aber an dem Druck seitens TWO, dass wir nicht akzeptiert werden.

Was hat TWO mit CoT zu tun?

Während der letzten Monate haben TWO und CoT kooperiert, um jedes einelne EDEN-Reich zu zerstören. Sie hatten den gleichen Feind und die gleichen Ziele. Aber die Dinge haben sich geändert. EDEN ist noch am “Leben”. Zumindest der Name existiert noch. Rumänien, Italien und jetzt auch Kroatien verlassen EDEN. Obwohl Griechenland noch offiziell Mitglied ist, gibt es Gerüchte, die besagen, dass Griechenland und Rumänien (haben bereits Bündnisse mit TWO) sich TWO anschließen werden. Die zwei verbliebenden Großmächte China und Türkei werden sich mit Sicherheit ebenfalls eine neue Allianz suchen, da der verbliebene Rest einfach zu schwach ist.

Bedenkt man diese Dinge, wird es zwangsläufig zu einem neuen Problem kommen: Langeweile für CoT und TWO. Zwei Großallianzen mit starken Ländern auf jeder Seite, die früher einmal die gleichen Gegner hatten, stehen ohne Opfer da, also werden sie sich früher oder später gegenseitig bekriegen. Der erste kleine Ausläufer des großen Krachs kann man schon jetzt beim Krieg Rumänien (pro TWO) und Bulgarien (CoT) sehen.

Ja ja, das weiß ich doch, aber was ist denn jetzt mit Deutschland?

Sofern es zu dem großen Krieg zwischen TWO und CoT kommt und wir uns CoT anschließen, wäre Deutschland in einer strategisch gesehen wichtigen Position. Sachsen als einzige Verbindung zwischen Polen und den westlichen Ressourcen macht uns in dem Krieg zu einem wichtigen Verbündeten. Mit einem einzigen gewonnenen Widerstandskrieg könnte man Polen von all seinen Boni abschotten. Wir würden dazu gezwungen sein, gegen polnische Besatzung zu rebellieren. Wir würden das, wenn sich unsere Allianz das wünscht, machen, ganz egal ob wir einen Vertrag mit Polen haben, oder nicht, denn wir waren immer loyal gegenüber unseren Verbündeten.

Das könnte also einer der Gründe sein, dass die TWO-Länder verhindern möchten, dass wir einer Allianz beitreten. Ein weiterer, weit hergeholter Grund könnte sein, dass wir mehrfach serbische pto-Gruppen in Deutschland und Dänemark vertrieben haben. Auch das könnte einen der serbischen Satellitenstaaten, die Mitglieder von CoT sind, zu einem Veto bewegt haben. Mir selbst fällt sonst kein triftiger Grund ein.
