[Feds] What makes the Feds such good leaders?

Day 1,931, 20:18 Published in USA USA by Malarkey83

So, you're wondering what is it about the Feds that make such awesome leaders?

Until you are a Fed...you may not understand. We're confident enough to know we are...which is why people come here to be a part of it and continue the trend.

Since I became a Fed way back on like day 2 of my erep career, the Feds have always been a welcoming place. We had compassionate leaders who care about our party and especially our country. They took the time to help you when you were a noob. They explained things, and didn't get frustrated or pass you around to 6-7 other leaders until someone finally helped you.

Fed leadership is always looking for the next crop of great players to take over. When you're young, you get active and do thankless work and put your name out there. People will notice you and give you opportunities. I remember being a young player busting my tail working for Stewy in the FBI dept. I worked there for 2 months and then Greene12 (when he was PP) offered me the Director chair. A few months later, I was sitting in Greene's seat as the Fed Party President.

I remember telling myself when I came to power, I wanted to help my party. I've never had an interest in the national level, so my goal was always to instill a fire in the next generation of Fed leaders. Find young players, give them opportunities, and watch them become great players themselves. Bigcdizzle was my VPP and sure enough...3 months later he was the Fed PP (not bragging).

What also makes the Fed party amazing is our dedicated (sometimes slightly too passionate) group of oldfags. You can find great players from Fed history hopping on IRC or the forums to chat all the time. Players like Gnilraps, Molly Emma, Fingerguns, Soren Nelson, Greene12...(and the list could continue for ages). They hop on and share their wisdom and ideas which greatly benefits the party. They could always just ride off into erep retirement...but they don't. They're passionate and love the party they worked hard for.

This is what makes the Fed party awesome and why we have and will continue to have awesome leaders.
