Cromstar, Political Director This just in to our news room...the members of good standing in the Federalist Party have started pouring into the polls to elect the next President of the largest party in America!

To vote, vote for the nominee you believe to lead the Party into the next grand and glorious term!

We have three challengers this month, all looking to follow in the footsteps of the Bubbles!

My time as Party President is winding down. After two terms that I am for the most part satisfied with I will not be seeking re-election. Primary elections are currently underway to elect the next Party President. The nominations and voting take place monthly in the Political section of the Fed Forums: http://fedparty.forumotion.com/f8-political. If you do not have access to that section please go here: http://fedparty.forumotion.com/f3-introductions-and-access-requests and create a thread introducing yourself while requesting Fed access. You will not be granted access during this Primary, but you will ensure that your voice will be heard in future Primaries for Country President and Party President.

I often get messages from new players or tenured two clickers asking what they need to do to get involved, get elected to Congress, or become Party President. The answer to getting involved in those various positions begins with Fed access to our forums and a Fed job. To apply for one of the many Departments currently looking to get an eager member involved please go here: (proudhorny.us/FedJerbs/), IRC activity and media activity also help very much, but those two basic tools are the begining of potentially great things for a young player.

Our Party is a newb centric meritocracy. Translation: we succeed when you succeed. My goal when I first decided to run for Party President after a near year hiatus in that position was to return the Party to its roots. We have focused on getting the Departments stocked with Deputies and staffers. The purpose in this is to get the membership more involved in the day to day running of their Party while finding and seasoning the next generation of Leadership. I asked our Directors to focus on the process not tangible numeric results.

Today I believe we have seen the culture shift back to inclusion. Retention a long dormant department has revived under Talio Extremist. Thanks to his efforts combined with Recruiting and IndexIfinity acting as liaison between those two Departments our Party is growing again. We saw an approximate increase of 10% in our number over the last 20 or so days. The FBI has taken very important steps towards keeping our Forums secure while also allowing retired Feds to have access to socialize and look around their old stomping grounds. There is still much to be done, but I am very pleased with our progress. I thank you Feds for placing your faith and trust in me over these last two months. I humbly hope that I have not let you down.

A Stronger HAMMER
Wookyjack, Deputy Media Director The new HAMMER program has been rolled out and is once again on the cutting edge on MU training in eRepublik. New HAMMER Director, Orikfricai is taking the project over from Interim Director Wookyjack, as well. It's a great new start for the improved program.

Highlights and Requirements of the New and Improved HAMMER program

1. HAMMER no longer accepting any new foreign D1 players with less than 8,000 strength.

2. Division 1 eUSA citizens with less than 8,000 strength will now be automatically enrolled into the HAMMER strength training. They will not be able to request supplies via the Commune anymore. Basically, this group will work for cc so they can convert it into gold. They will earn above market salary wage ranging from 50-60cc a day.*

Also, at the start of each new week URLs will be provided in the HAMMER forum where all of these types of players in this bracket will collect supplies from the URLs. This HAMMER soldier will also be allowed to fight whenever they want although its encouraged that they should only work and strength train.**

_{*This cc can be used towards buying food, weapons, houses, convert it to gold on the monetary market...whatever is their heart's desire. These HAMMERS will not request supplies from the regular Daily Orders and Briefing thread.
** HAMMERS who need houses can buy them on the market, but will not be reimbursed because they work for a salary.}

Requirements:

- join SHIELD in game
- wear a uniform
- fight (according to NSC orders) or strength train
- 1.04 cc (salary will be raised when you are accepted into HAMMER) mandatory commune
- Register on the SHIELD Forum
- Register on the eUSA Forum

_{This HAMMER program will still encourage strength training (aka saving gold for training ground discount upgrades) and also allow the player to have free will with the money they earn by working in the commune.}

A.R.M.O.R.
A.R.M.O.R. is the Elite HAMMER strength training regiment. This HAMMER program provides LARGE GOLD REWARDS for the best of the best. Players will typically not be able to apply for this program. They will be recommended by sponsors of the Federalist Party / SHIELD.

ViKy with our Fed Treasury reports that we have are not broke! Not even near broke. In fact she's jealous of how much wealthier the party is than she is. Now - you might find yourself asking, "Why does the party need money?" And there is an excellent answer! TO SPEND IT ON THE MEMBERS! YAYAYAYAYAYYY!!!!

Our treasury is carefully handled in full view of the leadership. Money is requested from the treasury, and then must past approval via the Party President. At any time a party member can speak up and say, "wait - why are we doing this?" or something similar. The money has been used to fund a variety of activities. Such as NFLB, FUN games, and even to help S.H.I.E.L.D. out from time to time!

So rest assured that regardless how much our treasurer feels the need to swim in the money - it is all accounted for and spent making the Federalist Party a more P/H place to be! (And yes - she does accept donations!)
The Federalist Party has always had the goal of recruiting new active players and helping them rise through the ranks so we intentionally have continuous turn over. Having the same people running everything for months and years just simply doesn’t provide the party or the country with anything useful. Having a large base of people you can look to is far more productive and honestly makes people happier. Now with that said if you don’t want to rise past a certain point we won’t pressure you to but we will still ask you on occasion in case things change. Never fear talking to anyone in our party leadership as we are always willing to help those both old and new alike.
