In what had become the greatest Party President Primary in the recent history of the Federalist Party, four Federalist showed how p/h they were by stepping up to run for Party President. In the end, Tyler Bubblar was re-elected as Party President as he defeated Dave Gulya, nickbergman, and Slybabymichele . The primary was so close between Bubblar and nickbergman, it actually ended in a tie between the two. Federalist Party rules dictate that in the case of a tie in a primary, the player with the most XP in game wins the tiebreaker. Congratulations to Tyler Bubblar for tying fingerguns and gnilraps in number of terms as party president of the Federalist Party.

CONTEST: How many party president elections have fingerguns, gnilraps, and now Tyler Buublar each respectively won. The first to answer below will be the Contest Winner. Winner will be awarded 150 Q5 food/15 Q7 weapons.

UPDATE: Nick's Concession

So there I was finding myself repeatedly checking the forums. I imagine Tyler was doing the same. It was a race I had never seen before and for my first run ever at PP I was lucky enough to be the one involved. It was like a mini Fed civil war pitting CKC brother against CKC brother. Minus unnecessary killing and fighting to own another human being. Like many other things in the life it had to come to an end.

Myself(Nick.Bergman) and Tyler Bubblar had gone vote for vote all weekend long leading into the final night. It was 17:00 eRep and we were still tied. An hour went by and while there had been more votes cast, we were still tied. It came to the final minutes and seconds and another vote for each and it ended. A tie, we ended in a tie.

Forget the tie breaking decision. Fed history had been made by CKC this night. Tyler and I had tied in the PP primary. Game mechanics would determine him to be the winner, but the real winner in all this was the party. Great numbers had been thrown down for voting from the beginning even though many were cast over the weekend.

I would like to congratulate my friend and CKC brother Tyler on his well fought victory. I know he will continue the tradition of motivated pride and horniness this party is known for. His staff is plenty capable and has made some wonderful changes along the way. This is the first time I have run for PP and I would like to thank everyone who took party for making it the most memorable experience I could have hoped to imagine. An experience that also goes to show the tireless work the members of the Federalist Party staff as well as my staff in SHIELD has done to continue to make this a great place to eRep.

While Plato continues to seem to do anything in his power to ruin our experience we will continue to band together and persevere the way we as brothers and sisters of this great party can. I don't know for sure what my future holds, but I do know that it is with this party and with it's official MU SHIELD. The thing I am certain with everyone in this party to help continue to drive and change and grow we are destined for great things. You all out there getting involved are destined for them. To be here one day writing as I am for a milestone for something that changed the party or a groundbreaking first.

The election committee (they’re the ones wearing black suits) has officially opened the form for Congressional applications for the January 2015 Congressional Election! All interested Feds please feel free to apply AFTER reading this post!

The general requirements and standards of evaluation are as follows:

1. Party Activity: You will need to be involved in the party in some capacity. This includes 30 days of party membership.

2. Party Support: You will need to help the party with earning votes. This could mean PMs, articles, shouts, or general networking. More votes for us = more people in. You will also need to separate yourself from your position if you wish to openly rally against the party or its decisions. You need not resign from your position, but rather state that the views are personal and are not necessarily reflective of the party’s views.

3. Personal Ethics: You will need to be in line with the Party’s ethics, which includes honest voting practices (i.e. do not accepts bribes, consort with enemies of the nation or PTOers, etc).

4. Personal Backgroun😛 You will need to pass an FBI Check to be eligible.

5. Congressional Activity: If you get elected, you will need to be active in Congress to maintain eligibility. Keeping involved in discussion and votes is the main form of activity. Failure to do so may be grounds for denying an incumbent a seat. You’ve been warned.

6. Congressional Policy: If you get elected, you will need to follow all Congressional Policies, especially in regards to IES to maintain eligibility.

7. Professional Decorum: You represent the Federalist Party, as the best of the best. If you act in a manner that reflects poorly on yourself, Congress, and/or this Party, it may be grounds for denying you a seat.

Official candidates will be announced at some point on the 20th or later. All candidates will be notified by a PM in-game or on the party forum. Feel free to sign-up in-game before then if you candidate, so you don’t forget and so we have plenty of people on the ballot.

As the newly appointed Director for Fun, Artela will be trying to revitalize the department and make sure that there is plenty to do. To this end, the department will be starting new forum games in the Fed Forums each week, including some stuff to help people get to know each other a little better. Feds are a family, and family should know about each other . So check often to see what is going on in our Forums!

In addition, for those of you who are irc-enabled, we will be trying to run a weekly game night. The Fun Department needs you, however, to tell them when is the best time for this. They want to get the timing right so all p/h Feds that want to take part can take part. Last but certainly not least, the Dept for Fun will definitely be trying to make sure the Fed Awards get a higher profile again. They urge you all to think about who you want to nominate for the January awards once they open! And if you feel there is a category that should be included that isn’t included, let them know and they will consider having it added. Remember, the sillier the better !

The Federalist Party has always had the goal of recruiting new active players and helping them rise through the ranks so we intentionally have continuous turn over. Having the same people running everything for months and years just simply doesn’t provide the party or the country with anything useful. Having a large base of people you can look to is far more productive and honestly makes people happier. Now with that said if you don’t want to rise past a certain point we won’t pressure you to but we will still ask you on occasion in case things change. Never fear talking to anyone in our party leadership as we are always willing to help those both old and new alike.
