[eWORLD status] TOP belligerent Countries

From now on i will create a TOP belligerent countries in erepublik as a new feature for role-playing characters interested in stats and geo-politics.
The idea is simple, create a hierarchy that show most belligerent countries.
Methodology:
- each week the TOP will be updated
- changes will be used from one day before posting
- rankings and indicators are under change untill a unbiassed intrument is created
Instrument:
In order to have a plausible instrument we will use only facts, although in the belligerent status there is alot of hustle and intangibles like propaganada, threatening and diplomacy. Because these are rather objectives and will start more discussions, we will kep them out of our research for starters.
Indicators:
- non-motherland territories owned (although it is debatable about the context of owning someones land, imperialism its imperialism , no matter if Romania says Moldova is United with Romania)
- aggression, meaning war declarations (what better way to show a beligerant country?)
- suppression, owning land from a country that no longger exists should count more.
- wipe-outs, older acts of wiping out a whole nation should be the ultimate indicator of a king beligerant country.
Each indicator will receive a number of points. For this first edition we will use 1 point fo NMT owned, 2 points ofr Sggro, 3 points for Suppression and wipe-outs.

The first conclusions are that the biggest Aggresor in eRepublik is Indonesia. While they are at the same level with Romania in wipe-outs and have a commanding lead in land owned, theya re preatty efficient with only 1 war declaration.
Japan has a huge score because of their abuse on South Korea, although this is debatable as SK is not one very active country. The same can be said abou Netherlands, but not abou South African assault.
Overall we see that PEACE is responsible for 77% of the first 15 most aggresive countries in erepublik.

I am wondering why did you waited so much with this article.
Why didn't you published a comparison table when Romania had 45 regions, being the biggest agressor of the eRepublik for the longest period?

Not relevant knowing that Hungary will liberate German regions and that Italy and France hold German regions just because they had to attack Poland and Italy to take them and now liberate them.

@jakabfia So you judge articles by it's writer not by the content?
I think media pollution, trolling and other discomforting effects should be taken in consideration, including the number of accusing articles. And TO attempts should be somewhere on the calculations.
You shouldn't count only the number of territories owned, but the number of real(not swapping) battles, that a country had initiated.
Hope this will help you improve your statistic.

Which are the 5 wars Hungary started? Show the laws passed. Also, which country was ever wiped out by Hungary?
War declarations form Romania: Ukraine (twice), Hungary, Russia, Iran, Indonesia. That is 6.
clawy don't be an asshole , you know how you cheated game mechanics to open your wars.
Also, Poland has 2 war declarations: against Romania (if you do not count this one, many others shouldn't count either) and Germany.
And where are the rest of the countries? You're second statistic is worthless without them.

jakabfia, so where did sebah JUDGE? he just posted some statistics, every player can draw his own conclusions, all he did was post some facts, TRUE facts, he did not judge.
Truth is PEACE countries are the most imperialistic countries today, yes Romania was one of them some time ago, but the statistics were made now not 3 months ago, so why do you laugh? you laugh at the statistics, are you saying they're not true? i don't understand what's your problem.
and questions like "why wasnt this study made 2 months ago" are pretty pointless, it wasn't made because sebah only made it now, obviously, because he probably only thought of this idea now... and indonesia could've done this statistics 2 months ago too, but they didnt think about it.

Norway has 3 war declarations (Finland, Russia, Romania) and 2 wipeouts (Russia, Finland). Still it doesn't make the list, while Spain does with 3 war declaration.
Pakistan actually has 5 war declaration: India, China, Iran, Indonesia, and a "trigger happy" one against Indonesia. It wiped out India and China. Still, it is not on the list. (and yes, this is a PEACE country)
The USA has 4 war declarations (5 if you count "trigger happy wars"): Canada, France, Portugal, Mexico, Russia.
Sweden declared war to Denmark and twice to Germany. It wiped out Denmark and Germany.
If Sebahmah corrects the tons of mistakes in these statistics, i will admit he want to do something nice with it. But until then i have my doubts about his intentions.
Interesting article. It very effectively reflects my view of the eWorld, but that is to be expected as I have always fought PEACE so I see it as bias confirmation.
To be fair regarding the USA, we certainly attempted the wipeout of Mexico and would have a few more conquered territories today of we had been better organized and united in the past. But our geographic isolation and being surrounded by either friendly countries or those with many MPP's does keep us fairly well walled in. I think if we had more options, you'd see a more aggressive USA. We just don't have many realistic options to express it.

If our wipeout is slovakia then we conquered the regions of a nonexistant country.
If its ukraine then it was wiped out by unknown ( xD ) "freedom" fighters.

@Legeny: The purpose was cheap propaganda. Perhaps feels sorry about attacking the Americans a week ago in the media, and wants to build up some reputation by spitting in the general direction of Hungary in every article. 🙂

Croatia didn`t wipe out Serbia they were conquerd by their friendly country Bulgaria and after 2 RWs of their conquerd regions(by Bulgaria) they didn´t have war with Croatia what was their goal

Zoli has to count for something.
It might make sense to remove strikes against a nation if it proceeds to free territories. That way you can judge if Hungary's intentions are for good or for ill.
Also, South Korea asked Japan to annex it for the time being. I'm not saying that PEACE doesn't have imperialism, but Japan isn't exactly very imperialistic. To put them at number 2 is simply absurd.

@James MacKennon: There are two alliances fighting since the day they were formed. A straightforward and more or less honest fight (some fake gold here, some clones there). Calling on of the countries Imperialist warmongering etc etc are just plain stupidity. It's war, so it is quite natural to fight battles, open new fronts. Giving countries "tyranny points" for taking part in a world-scale war in behalf of their alliance smells of bullshit.
When the USA attacked Mexiko to activate Hungarian MPP's to divide our forces, it was an efficient strategic move. Is the USA warmongering imerialist because of attacking their opponents? I don't think so. By the same logic, is Hungary warmongering imperialist for attacking it's opponents?
We're Peace GC, you're Atlantis. We are at war. Let's fight it openly, and may the stronger became victorious in the end. One time we beat you in Podolia, next time you beat us in Central Greece, that's pretty straightforward, there's no need for bullshits and half-truths like this.
