I think it’s about nomination time.

Due to the massive amount of positive feedback last month, I think it may even be frowned upon if we didn’t go with our usual primary system. For those who are unfamiliar with how the EPIC primaries work, let’s say it involves the magic of google docs, a lot of mailbox stuffing, and the instant run-offmethod. 😉 (If you’re truly interested in specifics, here’s an example of an earlier primary) I also intend to add the write in option to the ballot, which is something that was suggested last month.

The EPIC primaries will proceed as follows:

- Nominations Open Now
- Nominations Close 2pm EST Thursday, Nov. 30th
- Primaries Open 6-8pm EST Thursday, Nov. 30th
- Primaries Close 4pm EST Fri, Dec. 2nd
EPIC Nominee announced Evening EST Fri, Dec. 2nd

With that business taken care of, if you haven't noticed already, I’d like to point out that this article is in fact being published from an organization. 😮 This was the official EPIC newspaper until orgs were supposedly made extinct, and we abandoned it. After numerous months of lying low, I’m glad to announce that we’re back. This is now the official party paper of EPIC, and I will be handing the keys to the next Party President.

A while ago it was suggested that the EPIC forums be moved to the official eCanadian forums as a subforum. I contacted the forum admins at the same time I contacted the erep admins about getting access to this org, and decided to poke whichever admin team lost the race. There was positive feedback about a forum move from both EPIC membership, and the admin team, so I shall indeed go do some poking and hopefully we’ll be set up soon 😁



Over a week ago I sent a mass PM to all EPIC members asking for volunteers in a little project. Those who agreed would be added to a list that I would circulate a group PM to, where we would basically discuss EPIC things, or just things in general. I haven’t had time to circulate this PM until now as I’ve been busy with school, but before I do I’d like to do one last callout for anybody who’d be interested in participating~
