안녕하세요, 궁금한 이야기 독자여러분!
이리퍼 사상 가장 먼저 ‘God of War’, 즉 최고의 밀리터리 랭크를 획득한 유저, Romper와 인터뷰를 하였습니다. 이리퍼의 최고랭커는 어떤 분인지 궁금하실것 같아서 한번 인터뷰를 요청했습니다. 흔쾌히 수락해준 Romper님께 감사를 드립니다.





Jinho: 안녕하세요 Romper. 당신과 인터뷰를 하게 되서 영광입니다. 시간을 내주셔서 감사하다는 말을 먼저 드리고 싶네요. 이리퍼 전체 랭킹 1위를 오랬동안 했기때문에 이미 많은 인터뷰를 하셨을거라고 생각합니다. 하지만 여기 한국에는 당신이 누군지 모르는 새로운 유저들이 많답니다. 새로운 유저들이 이리퍼 최고유저의 이야기를 들을수 있는 아주 좋은 기회가 될 것 같습니다.

Jinho: 이 게임을 언제 그리고 어떻게 시작하셨는지 말씀해주시겠습니까?

Romper: 크로아티아 포탈싸이트에서 e크로아티아가 도움이 필요하다는 글을 보게 되었습니다.(**주석: 어디든 사람모으는 방식은 비슷하군요.ㅋㅋ) 안타깝게도 그 글을 올렸던 친구의 링크가 제대로 연결되지 않아서 이리퍼 메인페이지에서 그냥 가입했습니다.(**주석: 그사람은 정말 엄청난 추천인을 놓쳤음 ㅠㅠ) 그게 2009년 10월 11일이었습니다.

Jinho: 당신이 그렇게 오랬동안 싸울수 있는것은 당신이 백만장자이기때문이라는 소문이 있습니다. 그게 사실인가요?

Romper: 아니요. 저는 백만장자가 아닙니다. 뭐 가난한것도 아니에요. 제 생각에 저는 그냥 괜찮은 편인 것 같습니다.

Jinho: 당신이 게임뒤에 진짜 어떤사람인지 사람들이 궁금해 할것 같습니다. 자신에 대해서 조금 말해주실수 있으신가요? 어디에 사시고, 어떤 일을 하시나요?

Romper: 저는 해양지구물리학자로 석유산업에 종사하고 있습니다. 그래서 많은 시간을 연구함선에서 보내죠. 업무가 없을때에는 크로아티아의Zagreb이나 Osijek 지역에 머무르고 있습니다.

Jinho: 와~ 흥미롭군요! e한국은 얼마전 베이비붐을 경험했습니다. 대부분의 한국사람들이 새로운 유저들인데요. 그들은 당신처럼 하이랭커가 되기를 열망합니다. 조언이나 노하우를 부탁드려도 될까요?

Romper: 글쎄요, 이 게임은 제가 시작한 이후로 많이 변했습니다. 저는 마침내 제 첫 회사를 가졌을때 얼마나 흥분되었는지 기억이 나는데요, 여러분은 4개의 회사를 가지고 시작하시죠.(제 생각에) 어떻게 랭크를 올리냐구요? 글쎄, 저처럼 골드를 구입해서 빨리 랭크를 올릴수도 있고, 또는 경제제국(회사들)을 건설해서 천천히 랭크를 올리실수도 있죠. 근데, 여기 문제가 하나 있어요. 당신이 고민해서 세운 회사들이 바로 다음 패치하나로 완전 망해버릴수도 있다는거죠! 그래서 일단은 원자재를 파는것이 괜찮아보입니다. 그나저나, 베이비붐을 축하드립니다.

Jinho: 많은 조언들 감사합니다. 제가 보니까 롬퍼님은 모든 메달을 거의 다 따셨는데, 대통령메달이랑 저항전쟁영웅 메달은 없으시더라구요. 왜인지 설명해주실수 있나요?

Romper: 저는 정치적으로 엮이는걸 전혀 원하지 않습니다. 그래서 대통령선거는 절대 안나갈거구요. 저항전쟁영웅메달은 지역통화10000만큼의 가치가 없다고 생각해요. 그래서 그냥 그걸 싸우는데 쓰는게 낫다고 생각합니다.

Jinho: 아~ 그렇군요! e한국인들은 당신이 최근에 한국편에서 싸우는걸보고 꽤나 놀랐었습니다. 이리퍼 최고 랭커가 우리나라를 위해서 싸우는걸 보는게 재밌기도 했는데요. 용병메달 투어중이셨나요?

Romper: 아마 그럴겁니다. 그 전쟁에서 적이 누구였죠?

Jinho: 제 생각에 적은 대만이였던 것 같은데요. 왜냐면 그때 대만이 저희 NE였거든요.

Romper: 아, 이제 그 전투가 기억이 나는군요. 용병메달 투어였네요. 하하.

Jinho: 그렇군요! 시간을 내주셔서 다시한번 감사드립니다.

- 저항전쟁(RW)이 패치되면서 1000원이면 저항전쟁을 여는데 참여할수 있기 때문에 이제 롬퍼도 저항전쟁에 참여할거라고 하네요.

Hello, curious story readers!
I had an interview with a player who became the highest rank('God of War') first, Romper. I asked him for an interview because I think you are curious about who this player is. I appreciate Romper accepting my interview gladly.





Jinho: Hello, Romper. It's honor to have an interview with you. I appreciate for your time. I am sure you already have had a lot of interviews since you have been rank number 1 in eRepublik for a long time. However, there are many newbies who don't know about you. It would be a great opportunity for newbies to listen to the 1st ranker in eRepublik.

Jinho: Can you tell us when and how you started this game?

Romper: I saw a comment on one of Croatian portals about eCroatia needing help, so I decided to see what it is all about. Unfortunately for that guy posting a comment, his link didn't work so I made my account directly from eRep start page. That was on October 11, 2009.

Jinho: There is a rumor that you are a millionaire so that you can fight that long. Is it true?

Romper: No, I am not a millionaire. I am not poor either. I guess I am doing ok.

Jinho: It would be interesting for people to know who is the person behind your account. Can you tell us a little about yourself? Where do you live and that do you do for a living?

Romper: I work in oil and gas industry, as marine geophysicist, so I spend a lot of time on research ships. When I am not on the job I am either in Zagreb or in Osijek, Croatia.


Jinho: Interesting. eSouth Korea just had a babyboom, so most of people in eSouth Korea are newbies. They eager to know how to be a high-ranker like you. Can you give them advice or know-how?

Romper: Well, game changed a lot since the time I started playing. I remember how excited I was to finally own a company and now you start the game with 4 companies (I think). How to rank up? Well, you can buy gold like I did to rank up fast, or you can build financial empire to rank up slow. Here's the catch. The very next change might ruin you economically 🙂 For a start, selling raw materials seems like a good thing to do. Btw. congratz on baby boom.

Jinho: Thank you for sharing them. It seems you received all kinds of medals excepting Country President and Resistance Hero. Can you tell us why?

Romper: I don't want to be involved in politics at all, so I will never run for CP. As for resistance hero, I don't think having medal is worth 10000 local currency. I prefer to spend that fighting.

Jinho: eSouth Koreans were surprised when you fought for eSouth Korea recently. It was fun to watch the 1st ranker fighting in our country. Were you on a world tour for Mercenary medal?

Romper: It could be that. Who was the enemy in that battle?

Jinho: I think the enemy was Taiwan because Taiwan was our natural enemy at that time.

Romper: I remember that battle now. It was a mercenary tour 😉
