[EN] On footnotes and history

Day 834, 21:07 Published in Brazil Romania by Lutan Fyah

Well a bit under a year ago the real eBrazilian trolls were announcing eSouth Africa that, unfortunately, they will become footnotes in history. People like Bunaly and Antonio Salgado(I know he's still around but it ain't the same) did their best to keep that promise. And it was a fun time fighting them by the means available: economical sabotage, media blocking(now refered to as trolling). Overall you did some of us a favor, you taught us how to work together as a group, you taught us that territory isn't everything you basically pushed us from being role-players to being actual game-players. Well, the ones that wanted to learn the lesson did...I can't comment on others.

Bottom line is, you helped. Without knowing or wanting to do it you helped shape a community, pushed us out of inaction if you will.

You then proceeded to make mistakes. For the sake of gold, the appearance of normalizing relationships, cutting off useless limbs of the empire you built and perhaps for the sake of feeling better about yourselves, you slowly started to give ground. You let Limpopo go, the others followed and it was one tactical mistake after the other.

You ended up sitting on the fence in your dealings with eSouth Africa, plans for babybooms can be shaped and Table Mountain is waiting for us. You might re-conquer Gauteng, you might even manage to hold on to it for a while, but the point has been proven. You're not invincible, you're not infailible. The little guy can, with a bit of luck and some good planning, take you down.

P.S: I would really appreciate you upping the quality of your trolls though. I miss Bunaly, he was funny.
