[EN] Geopolitical situation in Cuba

First of all, I want to introduce myself. My name is Stipe, I am 23 years old and I am from Croatia. I really hope that we will together try to build our own little "heaven on earth" without unnecessary fights among each others, and hopefully without PTOs. We all come from different countries, different alliances, and we all have different view on eWorld, but I hope that we can work together for better Cuba.




As I say before, citizens of eCuba come from many different countries. During last few days, I was very interested in people who will become founding fathers of Cuba, so I made list of players and their nationality.



This graph shows number of players and their RL Country.
There could be some errors on this graph because I cant be 100% sure about RL origin of some players. Because of that I was looking TP history. Also, some native players aren't from Cuba.

We can see that besides native citizens, most players that have Cuban CS are from Serbia, 13 of them. On second place is Romania with 7 citizens and Argentina, Greece and Turkey have 6 citizens in Cuba. Croatia and Mexico have 5 citizens and Italy and Spain have 4 of them.

If we look our population trough alliances, we can see that Asteria and leto countries have 41% of all citizens in Cuba. Sirius just like Aurora have 22% citizens and 15% of citizens are natives.




There is already lot of tension on political scene. Main fear for now is possibility (I would say 99% possibility) of PTO.
Although we have country only two days, we already have lots of parties.

On first place is: Partido del Pueblo Cubano with 31 members. This party has been founded by Native players and this is official party in Cuba. If you aren't sure where to join, this is the best place to start. Some members of this party are most responsible people for getting Cuba on map, so you can be sure that this people want only good for Country. One of main goals of this party is to stop any possibility of PTO. Most members are in RL from Cuba, but there is a lot of players from allover the world.

On second place is: Partido de la Liberacion with 21 members. Most members of this party are Serbians (almost all Serbians in Cuba). I think that this party gives a lot of headache to native players. Serbians, with 15 citizens are one of strongest communities in Cuba. If we look at past PTOs of Thai, New Zealand, and now in Armenia, this is one of groups that can try (and succeed) in PTO. But on other hand, they may only want to build better Cuba. In this article they are calling all players to join their party.

On third place is: Cuban Social Party, with 15 members. This party has been founded by Croats, but that isn't important and all people from all countries are welcome. Main goal of this party is to stop any kind PTO, especially during first two months because we don't want to see Cuba in future as a puppet of some big country. Current members are from Croatia, Chile, Turkey etc. Official channel is #CSP and every member can get daily supplies od 3q7 weps. You can read more in this article.

Fourth place goes to: Partido De Cuba who has 10 members. This party has been founded by Greek community in Cuba. Their first article says that this is official party in Cuba so their intentions are questionable.

On fifth place, with 9 members is Partido Comunista de Cuba. As i can see, there is few Romanian players in party.


When we look at top 5 parties, we can see that official and Serbian party are in run for first place, except of Cuban Social Party, other parties don't have chance to jeopardize them. From top 5 parties, one is official, one is with Sirius/Aurora players, and three of them are mainly with Asteria/leto players.




When we look at the map, we can see that Cuba have 3 original regions: Las Villas (Grain), Oriente (Iron), and Western Cuba (Fruits). We have borders with USA (Florida), Mexico (Southeast of Mexico, Azores [Portugal core region]), Venezuela (Central Western Venezuela) and with Argentina on Canary Islands (Spanish core region).


We can see that Cuba is surrounded with Aurora/Sirius countries. Only border with Asteria is with Argentina, but in future, we can except that Spain will conquer back that region, and with Protugal.

If we look at resources, USA don't need any of our resources because of their occupation of Canada. Only resource that Cuba have and USA don't have is Iron, but for now, USA have that resource in Quebec.
Mexico is country that need our resources if they want bigger bonuses. Currently they don't have Iron and Grain, and closest resources are those in Cuba.
Venezuela is another country that need Cuba resources. They don't have Fruits and Iron.


We can see that all of our neighbours have some interest in Cubas regions, in many ways. Everything will depend on which side Cuba will be. If we become pro Sirius/Aurora country, that could bring us stability and friendly neighbours. Only threat would be Argentina, until Spain kick them out of Spainsh core regions.
In case that we become pro Asteria/Leto, we could except some fights. Mexico and Venezuela would try to expend their bonuses. Good thing would be border with Argentina (but for how long?).
Best thing for now is stay neutral, but my opinion is that we must have at least one strong MPP, in case of war.
