[Elections] Why you need to get your buttski to the eAus Forum

This article does not relate to my announcement yesterday.
For those not in the know, the current plan is to whittle down the three current candidates who have announced an interest in being CP (and, any other eAustralian candidate) to a single choice prior to the election.
The reason is to ensure that the eAus vote is not split on the day, leading to a possible Political Take Over candidate getting in.
This however does NOT mean you don't get a choice.
The IDEA, is around how you choose.
There is at the moment a thread on the eAustralian Forums (community.auserepublik.com) and there will I hope, soon be a vote for the people of Australia to pick that candidate.
If not me, then I will withdraw from the race and put my support behind whoever it is that ends up being selected through that process. I believe the other people running feel the same.
So. If you want a say this election, get your buttski to the eAus Forum and participate in your community democracy. If you want to nominate, talk to a PP for their support, or, come and just make your views known.

Hopefully there's a increase of forum membership.
I personally agree. Everyone should at least have a forum account and check every now and then. Doesn't take a ton of time but makes a big difference.
Best way to get involve and be part of the whole eAustralian community. The IRC chat is one of the best too i tell yah got some good laughs and interesting conversations going on there. So sign up and be involve Australia!

Forums and IRC are a must... sure eventually you burn out... or you just happen to arrive there at a bad time and suffer a sever case of WTF is this damn circus!!!!
Knowing and being able to access both regardless are essential tools.

Mack is forum admin there and XG is still around. Everything is recorded. The deleted posts and abuse of powers have always been when she has been Senate Speaker....
Anyway, my point is that even when Binda deletes something there is always a record.
Make the forms more user friendly and delete all the old stuff. if it a year old get rid of it. It all most imposable to find what you are looking for on it. I only go there as a last resort. And if I have no chose at all!!!
And if you want me to vote for you. You better make some posts where everyone can find them. Not just a fu..
better still wipe everything on the forum apart from stuff from the last 3 CP terms
