[eIre MoC] Education: Where do I hit?
The Irish Community
Greeting's Irish Scholars,
As promised, the Department of Education will start to bring you more informative articles. While some of these might be updated ones that have already been published, some will be new. So please take your time to read, critic (after all I am still learning some aspects of this game) and even to request an article about a facet of the game, that you might be wondering about.
Today's article is about DAMAGE (while it is a reprint/update, it is timely with the upcoming TW) and more specifically where and how to direct it. Some of you might be thinking "What the f.... has he been smoking" but some of you might be saying "Yes, I have been wondering what to do with my spare bombs", so this article is not just for the fresh blood, or the unsure or even the senior 2 clickers who have been around longer then Plato.
The most of you ought to be in a Military Unit, if not I strongly suggest you join one. But MU's can set their own priorities for your MU's battles. As you can see from the pictures below:
From the above picture, you can see that an MU can select 5 countries and whether they fight for or against those countries. This is selected by the MU commander. From that list of countries, they can pick the order of the day (seen by the drop down menu).
But where might you ask would the MU commander find these countries??
Well let me answer this, not in any particular order, but the many different ways....
Each Irish MU.... is based.... in Ireland. So, by rights the most logical first priority would be Ireland. "But Rusty D, what about when the MoD tells us not to fight for Ireland, because it is a Training War or Region Rent" well... that is a good question, one which I will be addressing in my next section...
As you can see from the above picture, the MoD (Ministry of Defence) releases a article every two days, but updates as often as possible, out lining the priorities for eIreland (Note this is the common thing in most countries due to the article shelf life of 7 days). This paper (shown with the red arrow) will be one of the guiding factors to where people should put their damage. If you cannot see it on the front page, click 'More News' and it might be down the bottom. Remember to vote it up, for those who don’t read the news.
Once your MU has set its daily orders, it will show up on the 'home' screen. And depending on your location, it will also show all eIreland's allies battles.
Yes, we have allies. eIreland signs many MPPs each term. These are friendly nations, enemies of our foes and nations who might share the same alliance view points as us (eIreland is technically not in an established alliance). These are one of the basis of countries that are selected by MU commanders when they set Daily Orders.
However some of the countries that are chosen by your MU commanders, aren't MPP partners. Instead they are friends, countries fighting a just battle against evil or maybe someone who is having a prolonged war which will provide you the fighter with DO’s.
Between this small criterion, it is easy to choose a country to fight for.
Well even if it is a rehash/update, I hope it helps you out coming into this Training War. The Department of Education will try and bring you a few more informative articles during the remainder of the term. However if you have idea's, suggestion's or even articles of your own, please drop me a line.
With lots of love,
Uncle Rusty D
Here to please.

The Minister of community has been a proud tradition for Ireland for about 8 years since it was founded. MoC was always independent of the government, stayed out of politics, and was self funded. They had contests, community awards, and the lottery. I always read and supported the articles. We have had some great citizens do this job, dounut, AC, Gormley, and Raven to name a few. It would be nice to see a return to this.
Until we get someone who wants to run it, I will try and keep it non-political.
The only reason many of the screen shots come from my MU is because to access that part (eg. the priorities, DOs) I need access to those features.
I am trying to get quite a few different programs/ministries back up and running. Hopefully I don't tarnish their previous image or do damage to their history. Instead I hope they are successful in helping eIreland and it's citizens.
