Heute der zweite Teil meiner Interview-Reihe. Nach eUK ist heute mal ein freundliches Land dran, nämlich eKanada 🙂 Vertreten wird eCAN von Trenton Rendell, derzeitiger CP.

Hello my fellow readers.
Today I publish my second article in my neww interview-series. After the “enemy” eUK now a alliied country: eCanada. The CP of eCAN, Trenton Rendell answered some questions from me.

1. Hallöchen! Könntest du dich kurz vorstellen? Nicht jeder wird dich kennen 😉
Trenton Rendell: Hallo, mein Name ist Trenton Rendell, der eKanadische CP. Vor drei Jahren fing ich mit eRep an und belegte in dem Zeitraum einige Positionen in der Politik. Ich war Vize-MoD, Industrieminister, MoI und war bis jetzt 13 mal Kongressmitglied.

2. Gut, fangen wir mit eKanada an. Würdest du sagen, dass dein Land aktiv ist oder eher unaktiv? Und für eRep natürlich auch wichtig: Wie stark schätzt du dein Land ein?
Trenton Rendell: Ich würde sagen, dass eKanadas aktive User sehr leidenschaftlich bei der Sache sind. Wir haben viele User die bereits seit über einem Jahr spielen und die sehr aktiven sind auch schon seit Jahren dabei. eKanada hat eine sehr aktive und hingebungsvolle Armee, die Canadian Armed Forces und The Crimson Order haben hunderte von Mitgliedern. Sie sind bekannt dafür die Wall am Ende einer Schlacht nochmal gehörig zu pushen. Neben CAF und TCO hat eKanada noch mehrere andere MUs, die sehr stark sind und damit viel Influence verteilen. Wenn man das alles miteinbezieht, würde ich sagen dass eKanada schon sehr stark ist, ja.

3. Wo wir über Stärke reden: eKanada hat mit eIrland und eFrankreich eGroßbritannien gewipet. Würdest du sagen dass das pures Tanken war oder liegt dieser Erfolg an einer erfolgreichen Strategie?
Trenton Rendell: Ich würde sagen: Die Mischung machts. Die eIrische und die eFranzösische Regierungen hatten beide User, die gut mit anderen zusammenarbeiten konnten und beide Nationen haben richtig starke Streitkräfte. Als wir dann alle drei zusammen zuschlugen, konnten wir einen unglaublichen Damage in die Schlachten werfen.

4. eGroßbritannien konnte immer mal wieder eigene Regionen befreien. Bleibt eKanada jetzt in Europa oder wird man sich in naher Zukunft einigen, dass eGroßbritannien im Rahmen eines Vertrages seine Regionen wiederbekommt?
Trenton Rendell: Natürlich kann ich jetzt nichts geheimes verraten, aber ich kann dir versichern, dass eKanada noch in Europa bleibt.

5. Wo wir gerade über militärische Pläne reden: Findest du, dass eKanada in seiner Allianz einen guten Platz inne hat? Fühlst du dich als CP eKanadas wohl damit?
Trenton Rendell: eKanada ist froh darüber, nicht nur in einer, sondern in 2 Allianzen zu sein. Es ist eine Ehre, in TERRA UND in EDEN zu sein. Ich wurde herzlich empfangen in den Allianzen und ich genoß meine zeit bis jetzt. Meine Ziel ist es, eKanada zu einer Führungsnation in TERRA und in EDEN aufzubauen.

6. Welche Länder sind deiner Meinung nach die besten “Freunde” eKandas?
Trenton Rendell: eKanada und eUSA haben eine spezielle Verbindung. Nachdem wir sie bekriegten, beschlossen wir die feindlichen Handlungen einzustellen und lieber zusammenzuarbeiten. Das ist der Grund dafür, dass wir diese Brolliance haben.

7. Jetzt mal ehrlich - Würdest du nicht gerne mal eKanada mit einem Land wie eDeutschland tauschen, wo fast überall Feinde angrenzen könnten? Persönlich würde ich fast meinen, dass eKanada da über eUSA etwas isoliert ist 😃
Trenton Rendell: Hehe, ich muss zugeben: Wir eKanadier finden das gar nicht so schlimm, geografisch eingegrenzt zu sein. Ich könnte mir nicht vorstellen wie es ist mit sovielen Feinden/anderen Ländern umgeben zu sein. Ich denke dass ist auch ein Grund warum eKanada und eUSA gute Alliierte wurden..

8. Okay, letzte Frage über das Internationale: Was ist bei den 3 großen Allianzen EDEN, TERRA und ONE wohl der größte Plus- und Minuspunkt?
Trenton Rendell: Ich denke, dass es nicht gut wäre jetzt negatives über EDEN und TERRA zu sagen. Aber um ehrlich zu sein: Ich finde derzeit nichts schlimmes bei EDEN und bei TERRA. Zu ONE kann ich aber sagen, dass ich finde dass sie sich nur auf wenige Länder konzentrieren anstatt auf die ganze Allianz.

9. Gut, jetzt lass usn über eDeutschland reden :3 Besteht irgendwelcher Kontakt zu uns? Wenn ja, ist es ein guter oder nur der übliche Alliiertenkontakt?
Trenton Rendell: Ich bin gerade dabei unseren Botschafterpool zu bestücken. Wir haben schon viele Kandidaten für eDeutschland 😉

10. Ich denke mal, dass du “Germark” kennst, die Union eDeutschlands mit eDänemark. Findest du diese Art Bündnis sinnvoll? Könntne auch andere Länder eine solche Verbindung aufbauen?
Trenton Rendell: Ich bin eher ein Verfechter von der Souveränität und Unabhängigkeit der Nationen. Aber es ist die Entscheidung eDänemarks; Wenn so eine Allianz ein kleineres Land irgendwie hilft, würde ich klar dahinter stehen.

11. Zwischen eDeutschland und eSchweden wurde vor kurzem ein Vertrag geschlossen; Sie bekommen Regionen umsonst, bilden mit diesen aber eine Art Schutz vor ePolen. Wenn du diesen Vertrag kennst: Was denkst du darüber? In eDeutschland wird heftig diskutiert, was denkst du als CP von der anderen Seite des großen Sees?
Trenton Rendell: Wie gesagt: Ich bin für die Souveränität der Nationen. Wenn es aber einem Land hilft, ist es sinnvoll.

12. Okay, Jetzt sei mal ehrlich und schaue nicht nach: Kennst du einige eDeutsche Spieler? Oder vllt. MUs und Parteien?
Trenton Rendell: Ich muss zugeben, dass meine Kenntnisse nicht gerade die besten sind. Dr. Pain war aber mal sehr einflußreich in eKanada. Ich hoffe aber, dass ich in meiner Amtszeit die Länder TERRAs besser kennenlernen werde.

13. Kommen wir zum Ende: Willst du uns eDeutschen etwas sagen? Magst du eDeutschland? 😃
Trenton Rendell: Erst einmal möchte ich dir, Kwakie, für das Interview danken (Anm. d. Red.: Danke dir 😉. Zudem danke ich den Lesern, die sich die Zeit nehmen dieses Interview zu lesen. 1. Hello there! May you introduce yourself to our readers? Not everybody should know you 😉
Trenton Rendell: Hello, my name is Trenton Rendell. I am the President of eCanada. I started playing eRepublik over 3 years ago and in that time I’ve achieved many political accomplishments. I’ve been deputy Minister of Defence, Minister of Industries, Minister of Immigration and I’ve been elected to congress 13 times.


2. At first, lets talk about eCanada. Would you describe your country as an active or less active one? And about the for eRep most important point: How "strong" is your country?
Trenton Rendell: I wouldn’t necessarily describe eCanada as active; I would describe eCanada as passionate. We have many players who’ve been playing for over a year and many of eCanada’s more active players are the same who were active a year ago.
eCanada has a very dedicated and active military corps, both the Canadian Armed Forces and The Crimson Order enlist hundreds of citizens. They’ve been known to be able to turn the tide of battles. Along with the CAF and TCO, eCanada has many more MU’s are incredible strong and influential. So in terms of eCanada as a whole, I would same we’re quite strong.

3. Talking about Strength: You managed with eIreland and eFrance to wipe eUK from the map. Do you think that this action was successful because of massive tanking or was it "just" a good plan?
Trenton Rendell: I would say a little bit of both, both the Irish and French governments have insanely smart officials planning and strategizing with one another and both nations have incredible strong armies. When all three nations work together, we manage to have an incredible influence on the battlefield.

4. eUK managed to free some regions of them. Do you think eCanada will be on the european continent some time or is there a plan for an agreement with eUK or something?
Trenton Rendell: Of course I can’t go into detail on eCanada’s plan for the future of the United Kingdom. But I can ensure you that eCanada will stay in Europe.

5. Talking about military actions... Do you think eCanada is in a good position in your alliance? Do you as a CP feel well in it?
Trenton Rendell: eCanada is grateful for being in not one but two major alliances. It’s an honour to be both in EDEN and Terra. I’ve received a very warm welcome from both alliances and I’ve enjoyed my time thus far. It’s my goal this term to make eCanada a leading nation in EDEN and Terra.

6. What would you say... What countries are eCanadas best friends?
Trenton Rendell: eCanada and the eUSA have a special bond. After our war with the US, we’ve decided to stop fighting with each other and instead work together. That’s the whole reason we have the Brolliance.

7. Please be honest - Would you like to switch "your" eCanada with a country like eGermany, where many enemies and other countries are in one spot? It seems - For me - eCanada is geographically isolated above eUSA 😃
Trenton Rendell: Lol, I must admit, us eCanadians take our geographic location for granted. I couldn’t imagine being surrounded by so many hostile nations. I think that’s one of the reasons eCanada and eUSA grew to be huge allies.

8. Last question about the international politics/military: Can you give me one pro and one contra in the 3 great alliances EDEN, TERRA and ONE?
Trenton Rendell: I don’t think it would be a smart move on my part to start talking bad about my nation’s alliance. But in all honesty I can’t find anything wrong with EDEN and Terra. As for ONE I believe they only focused on a few nations instead of the entire alliance.

9. So, now lets talk about eGermany :3 Do you have any contact to us? If yes, are they great or just because we are on one side of the table?
Trenton Rendell: I’m in the process of rebuilding our Ambassador corps. We have many candidates to be our ambassador to eGermany

10. I think you know the eGerman/eDanish-Union ("Germark"). Do you think this kind of alliance is a good thing for both countries? Do you think other countries can try this too?
Trenton Rendell: I’m a big advocate for nation’s sovereignty and independence. Though it’s up to the nation to decide its future. If such an alliance can protect each nation than I’m all for it.

11. eGermany and eSweden made an agreement recently. They get regions from us for nothing, but they build a kind of "wall" against ePoland. If you know this agreement: What do you think about it? In eGermany there are "some" discussions about this, what do you think as a CP from the other side of the ocean?
Trenton Rendell: Again, If it’s in the nation’s interest to protect themselves from enemies than I’m all for it.

12.So, please be honest and dont look up for this one: Do you know some eGermans? Maybe eGerman Military units and parties, too?
Trenton Rendell: I must admit my knowledge of eGermany is lacking, I know of Dr. Pain once a very influential eCanadian. Though in my term I hope to learn more about the nations of Terra.

13. So, last one today 😃 Do you have some words for our readers? Do you like eGermany? 😉
