As Swiss Minister of Education I have written this (admittedly subpar) educational article, This is very basic and not particularly Swiss centric, however my next two Educational Articles will be more focused on Swiss Parties, Politics and Society. So yeah, most of my subscribers be warned...Basic Edu-Ma-Cation Ahead

Welcome to your fabulous Ministry of Education with your host Paul Proteus
So now, on with the ed-u-ma-cation, today we will be focused on:
The Basics: including Working, Training and Leveling up your shiny new eRepublic Account!
And if you have already played a few months, or just want an entrance into eSwiss society don't miss your Ministry of Education's upcoming articles in the series:
-Fighting and eSwitzerland's Militias
-eSwiss Politics and Society (Including Major Parties, the Forum and IRC)

So, without further adieu, here is your Education:
The Basics:
So, you just got a fancy new eRepublik account and you are ready to immerse yourself in the world that is eSwitzerland. Good for you, now lets start with the basics:

Your Avatar!
First you must edit your profile, click on your name in the upper left corner of the eRepublik home screen, then proceed to click on "Edit Profile"

Once there you are given the option to change numerous items including your password or birthday or email (username), you also are able to change your description (this will appear on your profile page) and your avatar.

Now proceed to upload an avatar, preferably someone or something that is easy on the eyes. Now we can jump to false conclusions on who you are and this may lead us to a false sense of trust. This is a good thing 😛 Moving on...

Getting a Job
That's right, even in eRepublik you can't slack off all day, and in any case working gets you money and after 30 days 5 gold. Many may choose to work in a Commune but that is a topic which will be discussed in the article about Fighting, so hold off on questions for now 😁.
So, move your mouse over market, then drag down until you can click on Job Market, proceed to do so.

As follows

Now simply apply for a job and voila. You can visit this job by clicking on My Places. This will take you to your land, which being ever complicated (V1 was a simpler time >.>) will need to be explained, so now:

Managing your "Land"

This is my land, and yes I got a job just for this demo 😁 So yeah, your land should look something like this, more experienced players will have a lot more going on. At the top is any job you may have just picked up from the previous section. In my case the one I just selected from Dan/naD. I have just worked there. You can also "Work as a Manager" in each of your companies you own, providing (if you can afford it) a constant supply of food and weapons which you can either use or sell. You select which of your companies to work in by either checking or unchecking the shaded head then clicking "Start Production". Your land is very important as every time you work you gain 2 experience, as opposed to 1 per hit when fighting. (Both of which, as Ario so kindly pointed out, cost 10 wellness so keep that in mind)

From this page you can move on to:

Your Training Grounds

Training works much like working, you select where you want to train depending on which training facilities you have, make sure you always train at the "Free" training ground, but if you have the others, be wary, they cost gold. Training can also get you gold, as every 250 str. you increase you get the Super Soldier Medal.

And quickly: Storage

This is where you click to access your storage...You start with 1000 but by spending either your local currency or gold you can increase that number quite a bit

Wrapping Today's Section up, we come to:

Leveling in eRepublik

The leveling system is both complex and random in eRepublik so I will spell it out for you relatively simply, but don't expect it to still be right in two months when you check back 😛

-Working: Gives you 2 exp
-Fighting: 1 exp per hit
-Every Level you receive 1 gold
-At every level you can do something new!

This Graphic from the eRep Wiki shows this pretty well

So that's a wrap for today folk, make sure to Sub and tune in next time for the following eSwiss Educational Articles. Thought these were bad? No surprise, I've never done one of these before, find any mistakes? Feel free to message me or just sound off in the comments. Also I'd like to thank this vastly superior UKguide which I took a lot of the information from, I hope they aren't too mad.

And finally All Swiss beginning Players in Need of Help, Your new government has entrusted me with a shitload of q5 food to help, if you are starving feel free to ask me for some help, it's what I'm here for 😁
