Congratulations to all of you, you read it right!!!!!!
Yes, the exchange rate went up from 0.012 to 0.016 an increase of 25%, so all the NLG you own are now worth 25% more in gold. But guess what, this is destroying our country, yet again!!!
This is because not only your money increased 25% in its value, so did all our products. And with that our chances of exporting are decreased with an estimated 1E(infinity)! Because we can no longer export, since we can't buy NLG that is cheap enough to continue production at the same price level, this country will soon die, again, of an extremely large export shortage, making all our gold flow out of the country. Therefore I suggest that either our government starts with lowering the exchange rate, or we citizens take control of the future of this country and make this exchange rate decline. And with that, all your gold will become worth more in NLG, yet again an amazing 25%!!!

So because they refused, they cant state the facts about our economy? Rather then commenting here, go kick your fellow government-members to do something about this!
Shakerr get your facts right, I just don't have the time to do any extra jobs at the moment because I am ill, just that I'm feeling a bit better today and I have the chance of preventing this country from going bankrupt doesn't mean I'm playing political games.
And something else Shakerr, I only received a PM whether or not i wanted to become MoFa, I was never asked to be MoF. I still have that PM, but I'm not going to place it here and gain some forfeit points.
Government is making a mess of the MM. If i hadnt put 13k of NLG of the MM we would be paying 0.1 for our NLG.
It is also funny how Shakerr responds, not commenting on the subject but instead dodging the question by pointing his finger. That says enough.

Got the same problem. All has been lowered because of all the erepublik-updates. Think too much is unclear to the current owners.
Well all wages in this country are currently lowered since the currency increased with 25%, and we need export. If we want to export, we need to be cheap, and with that we need cheap labour, its simple as that.
