Dear eBelgians,
In this article I would like to give you an update about the ongoing debates in our congress.
- State Budget Law amendment: To remove funds set aside for the Lottery. Cause no one was against this proposal. This already moved on for voting in Congress;
- Immigration Law Review: Some new congressmen find that immigration officers have too much power and don't agree on the used methods. The end does not justify the means or does it?
- National Lottery reactivated yes or no: The big issue here is with the possible ban for the person/organization who organize it in-game;
- eBe's minimal salary: Is it good for our economy to set minimum wages or not?;
- Voting System review: How do we vote on our forum for a certain position like a judge or chairman when we have 3 or more candidates?
As Chairman of Congress, I would like to congratulate both Gyantse and Cotarius for receiving the title Friend of Congress!

There is a minimum wage. The question is do we have to increase it.
Strange that nowhere in this article I find something about the past and current discussion if voting and discussing should be moved in game instead of at the forum. It seems this is currently the hottest topic but why doesn't it appear in this article??
If you would visit our forum, you would know why that topic isn't in this article. I wrote down the 5 debates who are most active, the topic about voting in game is only at place 11 => so not very active and seems not that important as you think
It seems it is the most active in game so it is indeed very strange that you feel to exclude it from your report..
Feel free to write an article about it...
Is this all you can say about it?
Already 3 articles have been written about it. I don't know many proposals that had so many IG articles. The first time in eBe history a proposal has been extensively discussed and even voted on via pm. And you find this proposal not at all important?? Because it isn't discussed extensively on the forum. That forum, and the use of it is the main part of the proposal. Again you leave out a big portion of our citizens because it suits you. That isn't how a chairmen of congress should go to work..
I did leave it out of my report. It's not because I didn't mentioned it now, that I'm not thinking about it.
I only don't see how it can work smoothly. So I need some time to think this over, before I can write an article about it..
Stijn as chairman you do not need to agree with a proposal or agree with it to mention it in an official congress newspaper. You only need to inform people that that proposal is out there. We don't need to know your opinion about it (at least not when you speak as chairman).
Feel free to write a personal article about it but do not use an official newspaper to comment on the proposal. Only inform. Nothing more, nothing less..
Ik zou graag de vertaling naar het Nederlands alsook naar het Frans willen zien, bovenaan het Engels. Onze landstalen worden in tegenstelling tot onze buurlanden verwaarloosd!

The debate about the minimal salary interests me a lot (and also the one about immigration). Maybe I'll read and react if someone makes a paper about it.
The others don't interest me much (lottery and forum voting system).
