First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new party members from the Ronin party, I hope you would enjoy your experience here. I apologise for not doing this earlier, but I was a bit inactive in the last couple of weeks. Welcome to all of you; let's continue to work together and have fun and build a successful party with an unique identity.

PP election
PP election will be happening in the next few days, Metic will be running for his second terms since he got back, I really hope that you can all go to the poll and support him.

Congress election
This is the first time in a long long time that the DPJ party is in the top 5, since we have a lot of new players coming into the party, I want to start the Congress organisation earlier so that you can declare your interest earlier, and we don't have to rush to do what we need to do. Basically, I want a list of people who want to run for congress, so that we can give you our party endorsement, I also want a list of people who can run as a blocker for us, and of course I want to know who can do mobile voting for us to support our candidates.

Party restructure
Imagine there are 2 rooms, one room has 50 people in it and the other has 3, if someone new just walk into the room, it is much easy for that person to fit in with the people in the room with fewer people in it. I believe it is the same for the game.

On the administration side, it is also difficult to manage and to ensure they continue to be active in a party of 30 or so active players in a centralised fashion.

Tools like IRC and the forum are great, but our party consists of mostly people from the game and many of them are 2-clickers who doesn't have the time to hang around. Through restructuring the party, I hope it will be a lot of easier for new members, or that not so active members to fit in, so they can learn about the game, make connection with people, stay active, and enjoy themselves. If you compare reading how to play a game from a game guide to having someone to explain to you, a direct communication is a much more effective ways to get your ideas across. This is a social orientated game afterall.

Finally, Angrr has proposed an interesting idea to me about a way to get more new players involved, he is still working on the detail, but hopefully, we will release more detail about it later.

We have a lot to do, so let's on with the tasks at hand.
