Dear DPJ members, citizen of eJapan,

The election yesterday was filled with plenty of controversies, but our candidate, DanPMK managed to win his seat as the new member of Kinki, and I would extend my congratulation to him for his victory, and wish him luck. Hopefully this will be a good learning curve to him.

Though, I am a bit disappointed with our voter turnout. We are not in a top 5 party and we can't afford to be complacent. As the planner for this election, I accept full responsibility for this poor showing and I promise to be more organised next time around.

Another disappointment comes from a game glitch that annulled Aston Reynolds' candidacy just before the election start, and as a result, he couldn't take part in competing in the election. While I think this appears to be a rare incident, I hope the admin will look into it and correct the problem.

I have known Aston for a while even before I am PP, he is a capable member of our party and this country, and it is unfortunate that he cannot take part in this election. Hopefully, he will recover from the disappointment quickly, and we can work together on the event soon.

Moving Forward : Event Organisation

After the election, Aston Reynolds and I will start organising for our party event, Recent events from the ULJ and SOS have raised the bar in terms of event organisation, as we are the newbies in this, I am hoping anyone who is interested in culture and come along and assist us with your ideas as well as your participation at the event.

Work for Guns Project

The one month trial for the Work for Guns Project is closed to completion, the trial seems to work pretty well, and there is probably a small bonus this week to thank everyone to take part. There are so far no decision made as to whether the project will continue. The recent food boom has change the characteristic of our economy completely from guns orientated to food and gift orientated, while wage is still remind low at the moment. This should rise as there are more competition for workers in the high Q food and gift sector. So, we will have to re-evaluate the situation before any decision is made.

Merger referendum

Earlier this week, the newly elect party president of the New party (now the Scorpion party), Goku Jones proposed a merger with the DPJ, along with other minor parties. A referendum was used to gather the opinion of the merger from our members. The final result is a 9 to 2 vote against the merger, and as a result, we have noticed Goku Jones about our decision that there will be no further merger talks between the parties.

There are still a few projects that are on hold or under development. There will be more information about them probably in the next issue of the newsletter. Thanks for reading.
