The country's politics are in a state of flux. New party lines and ideological stances are being taken up. We are in a moment of change, in the last few days of a fin de siècle, or a changing of ages. The Democratic Party of India has always been proud of being the maverick party - the one streaking out into the future while all the other parties get left behind. What we have is a vision for the future, a plan that will get us there in true panache and style.

Allow me to introduce to you - TEAM DPI!


1. El Presidente, Samnomix! - (Sorry, Somurtkan. Your turn shall come)
How can you not like this man? Look at how cheerful he looks!


Leading from the front, he knows that the secret to making this game work is obvious - make it fun.

2. Vice President, Dushyanth! -

The engine of change in DPI, this financial whiz came out of nowhere, and now defines the DPI landscape - and soon, eIndia's!

3. Senior Politburo -

Our guiding light, an advisory body that will use their experience to act as a knowledge sink for the party.
Members - Exibot, Alector, Ayush, Miles, Marie, Mekong, Omegagamer.

4. Executive Committee

The buck stops here. 😛

5. Award Committee

We're starting an award for the best DPI member of the month, based on the gain in experience, strength, activity in the media, kills, and general contribution towards DPI. The people who shall constitute the committee to select such a candidate are - Samnomix, Dushyanth, ArawnLives, Exibot, Teutonic Caesaris, Alector, Omegagamer, troj4n20, and miles247.

6. Treasurers - Dushyanth and Teutonic Caesaris -

The money managers for our party - we intend to set up a DPI company to fund the award and generally add to the well-being of the members of DPI. Dushyanth and the innovative Teutonic Caesaris will make our money (and consequently, our happiness) multiply.

7. General Secretary - Exibot

Exibot, our resident Optimus Prime, shall watch over us with his pure mechanically perfect awesomeness!

As part of our new approach of bring politics to the people, we have everyone from Andhra Pradesh covered through Troj4n20's DPI Telugu Samiti, striving now and forevermore to bring every person from Vijayawada to Secunderabad into the loving embrace of DPI!

The Democratic Party of India stands today for change - for a change that shall lead eIndia into a glorious place in the future. It stands also for transparency - for the ability of everyone to know that there are no closed doors, no secret deals; basically, politics without the negative associations that seem to have become a part and parcel of it because of the actions of greedy and self centred individuals. We stand primarily for the prosperity of India - and we are proud to do so.
