[DPI] Party President Elections

Well,
As many of you might know that the PP elections are coming this 15 Nov. where the party members will be selecting who they want as the Party President for this term.



On to the point, With due respect to other candidates contesting this election, I am hereby announcing my candidature for this coming elections for the post of Party President of Democratic Party of India.

Although, I have not been working with the Democratic Party of India since ancient history and would not boast of that. However, I would like to point out that during the time that I have been here I have not been inactive for a day, constantly working with Alector and Naga, for the Party and looking for ways to improve it, helping in the campaigning of Alector for CP.

Now, I don't want you all to think that I am some lost bum with no experience at all in this game. I have been associated with this game at various time frames ever since I first joined this game in private beta. Due to some reason or other I have been taking some vacations in between the time period since then, but I have been fortunate enough to live through some glorious times and handled various positions throughout my eRepublik career. I think I reached the peak of my activity during the time of Iseutz under whose presidency I handled at first the IAF and was then promoted to be MoD.

I am quoting the above merely to drive home the point that among the *very* few reasons that you will try to find to not vote for me, I don't think you can take lack of experience as a valid excuse 😃

My manifesto, It's quite simple actually :

1. Continue the good work done by Naga/Troj4n20, in bringing the party to the forefront of Indian Party politics while simultaneously attracting active members to the Party.
2. Focus on the upcoming congressional elections in getting the most suitable party members into congress.
3. Encourage the growing activity within the party and in media presence
4. Improving the image of the party in eyes of public [Bit vague but will do for now as a long-term project]

As Parting words, I would like to wish luck to other candidates in the upcoming elections.
