[DoI] New Tax Info
eAus Department of Information
Good day dear Aussies,
From a couple of days we have new Import Taxes for the following items:
- House Raw Materials
- Moving Tickets
- Grain
- Iron
The reason for increasing the tax is that we have an agreement with Peru, which says they will send the incomes from our regions back to us. That means we will take every single AUD from our taxes for Australian needs. What we will lose and we can benefit from that?
House Raw Materials – 5% import tax
We are not a nation which can produce houses with profit. The only House bonus we had we gave it to Peru with rent agreement. Here we don’t expect someone to buy much HRM, but in case that this happens will be good it the nation can benefit a bit from the deal.
Moving Tickets
Only active fighters can gain Moving Tickets “for free”. The new tax will avoid the speculation in Australian soil. Yes, the price for the tickets might be higher, but it is not much. In fact wherever you are if you need tickets you can buy it from your current location if the price is lower there.
Grain & Iron
No need to speak much about the new import tax for those goods. The price for them is equal all over the world and players produce those items every single day. The markets are flooded and the storages are full. Everyone wants to sell Raw materials as soon as possible. Now you must read carefully and understand the following statement:
Buy FRM and WRM only from Australian market if the price is equal to those outside our borders. If you buy from Aussie that is good, if you buy from foreign player 20 or 30% of the money will go directly to our treasury. This way it is guaranteed that our community will benefits from any deal on the market. If we lose all lower offers then the taxes can be changed again. The equilibrium must be found in the demand and supply rate.
Note:
- New taxes will not reflect to the profit of our producers.
- New taxes will not increase the prices on our market, but if they goes up then correction will be made.
- Buy Q1 houses – it gives you extra working tickets and extra energy. If your salary is 50 cc then for 7 days you will make 350 cc minus the price of the house. Your extra weekly profit will be 60 to 70 cc, but you will get extra energy too.

🙁 to increased taxes. I am still against it.... but then I again I am just a citizen of this country and not a dictator or cabinet member.
Presumably we are not meant to endorse this one. Because that would be sort of like endorsing someone's article about the joy of kicking puppies...
Didn't J Seemore have a really viable plan going, of keeping import taxes low to make eAus a good place for foreign companies to do business? I am no economist, but... 🙁
So who is the author of this article? XenthuS?
I gave promise to Xen for writing an article about new taxes. As I am not cabinet member any more I send the text to Merovingiano and he published the article via government media.
So has this been approved by senate, or are we still trying to find the votes in the midst of the 45 pm's whether this is for or against what was voted on.
I remember in the past certain people all for low taxes now it is acceptable for a higher tax to be implemented?
I still say no
I also still say no
But no-one gives a fuck what I think 🙂
So how will this affect the price of a Birthday cake?
No change to the price for standard cakes, the only price increase is if you still want a dildo candle on top like you do always
"No, but just on the, just on the birthday cake, because I'm trying to pick up a simple example. You tell us in what you've published that the cost of cake goes down, the cost of confectionery goes up, there's icing and maybe ice-cream, and then there's candles on top of it."
Ok, I will re-phrase it........
On the surface nothing will go up 😉
Answered it better than John Hewson ever did.

Reduce minimum wage to $1 so communes can begin thriving again, then I'll come home 😉
The only profitable commune is the house companies one and without house bonuses... But if i low the minimim wage you come, they i'll do 😛

Still no discussion on the quantity of extra tax take? Don't want to increase taxes and then go again next month. Is this going to be enough to pay for our new alliance MPPs? If it ends up short, what then?
OMG, didn't you see the article days ago and you are only asking the questions now?
😛
Wait, what??? You didn't get an answer, I find that hard to believe.
Also lucky this article explains the new minimum wage part or I would of missed it in the thread.
Ilene this as nothing to do with MPP"s, that is just a line X says to pass on these stupid taxes. Infowar, Myself and others all offered to pay some of the MPP's so the Australian public would not be out of pocket. But this was pushed aside, instead it is more profitable and easier for him to control if he raises taxes a small amount at a time.
I don't object to the public paying. After all, the public benefits...
In general, I'd be ok with higher taxes. But, how much higjer?? There has been no discussion or public statement of target revenue (how many MPPs we will have at what cost each), nor any public discussion other than this article about how we might pay for our alliance obligations.
get $#&@ed
Since there is no way I can endorse this comment..
