About the eUS's Dept. of the Interior's Programs

Greetings fellow eUSA citizens:

First, a little backstory. Several years ago as the size of government shrunk so did our community's needs. The Departments of Education and the Interior were combined together to form the newly created Department of Citizens Affairs. The last article to be published here was on Day 3,069 nearly two years ago. The departments have again been made separate entities and DoCA has been put into hiatus, so it is time to resurrect the old DoI paper. 😃

Did you know our RL counterpart in its early days was nicknamed the "Department of Everything Else"? Well that name is pretty fitting for our in-game department as well, as you will see in a moment. The DoI is lead by Secretary Herr Vootsman and the members of his team volunteer their time to run a variety of programs for the benefit of the eUSA's citizens.


MoW - Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is America's longest standing public program. It's a program that existed when I started playing nearly a decade ago, was proud to be a part of it years ago, and it has evolved and continues on. It is a program that you can request food from DAILY and has only a single requirement.... to be a eUSA citizen. There are no other strings attached. It provides a pack of food of 1,000 energy.

AARP - American Air Rank Program

This is America's biggest program and its designed to get you fighting more in air battles to increase your air rank. The program provides a daily food pack of a whopping 4,000 energy but it does have some requirements to qualify.

1) Be a eUSA Citizen
2) DoCA tracks your air rank here: AARP Tracking - You must show progress (officially 20 kills) in your total air rank points from day to day to qualify for the massive food pack. Which means you need to fight daily in air battles.
3) Your air rank must be below Air Rank #50 - Group Captain

How to Apply?: Comment on the official daily AARP shout in the national feed. It's just that easy.




Sometimes someone isn't always available right at day change to post the daily shout, so it can take a few hours to get posted. Don't worry you'll have most of the day to comment, until someone posts "All fed" in the shout in the evening.


HfH - Habitat for Humanity

Habitats is a program for new players to get a free Q1 House. By owning a home you receive a number of benefits. First, it allows you to work a second time each day which translates to more money. Second, it increases your "energy pool" by 50 pts and boost your energy regeneration rate. The government encourages all citizens to own a home. The money you receive by working that extra time each day is more than the cost of a Q1 home so its more profit in your virtual pocketbook.

There is two requirements for the program:
- be a eUSA citizen
- participate and be in compliance with the AARP program

AA - Arm America

The Arm American program is not a daily program but a program activated during eligible battles. Generally, this is during times of war, or at the discretion of the President, Vice-President, SoD, or SoI to aid an ally or on rare occassion during a training war for a little fun.

To participate you must have a strength value of at least 5,000. The amount of weapons you receive (Q7 weapons aka tanks) is based on a strength scale.

3 Tanks - 5k-9k Strength
4 Tanks - 10k-24k Strength
6 Tanks - 25k-49k Strength
8 Tanks - 50k-74k Strength
10 Tanks - 75k-99k Strength
12 Tanks - 100k and up

When activated a post will be made in the national shout feed and then you can submit your request via this form.

For our air fighters, a sub-set of this program is currently run by our Air Marshall, Deputy Secretary of Defense WhydoIbotherToo. When activated citizens can come on to the eUS discord and via random roll will receive between 5 and 20 Q1 air missiles. He will post via his newspaper when the program is activated.
